Currently I am dealing with some bs with the major online retailer. I am looking for suggestions to replace them with another website. So far target seems to have a good selection of every day items with reasonable pricing, and shipping times. Not anything in the way of rc products that interest me. I would like to avoid using 12 sites to make up for 1 if possible. What do ya got for me?

As much as I hate it, we use Walmart online and the delivery service. It's been pretty good so far. But, like Prime, there is a yearly fee involved.

If you go this route, and they do delivery to your area, here's a hack; add ice cream to your order and you should have it within an hour.

The ice cream trick is a good 1, thank you!

That's an S-tier level hack, brilliant!

It's funny how everyone has different experiences. I've been burned by Walmart's online service a few times, now I won't use them anymore. But I have had nothing but good experiences with Amazon since they started. 🤷‍♂️

Been using Amazon a long time. Most of it has been good....this current situation is not.

One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch... but that doesn't help much when you are the one who took a bite of it!

Good luck, we use Walmart for groceries, but we still use Amazon for most everything else and haven't had any issues.

The problem itself should have been something easy to resolve. Being hounded by the Ai customer service via email without real solutions is a problem for me.

Sadly, I wonder how many of the on-line retailers will be following that model, if they aren't already.

In Maine, they just throw your order outside in a snowbank. 🤷‍♀️😐🤣

This is why I always either do it myself on the website, or use the phone call option. Sucks you're dealing with it either way.

If you order milk and vanilla extract, you can just go outside and start eating snow cream pre-made.

I hope this bites enough business' in the backside, that they will quit forcing AI nonsense on us. I have yet to have AI be helpful in any meaningful way. I hate AI tech support/customer service. Of course these days human tech support/customer service isn't much better.

Yeah me and the robot are having a hard time getting along. I wouldn't mind if we also forced some kind of labeling that gave you any clue what you bought on your cc statement, instead of whatever random string of letters the parent company does their billing under. Which is how this all started. I disputed 3 charges on my cc I didn't recognize. Turns out it was a mistake on my part. I owe less than $20. Ai is demanding I send them my complete cc info through unsecured email, and permission to collect the money for this, and anything else they want in the future. I insist I have no problem paying through my amazon account, or secure portal if they give me a bill. They in turn have canceled my prime membership, and deleted my wallet so I don't have means to pay for anything linked to Amazon now.
I have continued to get promo emails to get an Amazon business account though.

This sounds like a huge error on their part, and a giant security risk that could end in a class-action suit for them. If you generally like Amazon, I would have them call you and speak to someone.

You can request that they call you here.

I'll take two 25kg servos, one set of suspension linkage, one set of mud slingers, one set of aluminum wheels, and one Toyota body,
throw in a box of orange cream pops for good measure. :D

Every time I respond to the email the Ai picks up on the word pay being used in a sentence like. " I will not send sensitive data like credit card through unsecured email and require another means to pay"
I get a response, thank you for agreeing to pay, please respond with your cc info in this email.

Just like Amazon, you don’t need the subscription from Walmart to order from them. Just keep adding items to your cart and when you have enough for free shipping, place the order.

I order using Target, Amazon, Walmart. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amain, Hobby Rec, etc and never pay shipping. Maybe I miss out on members only deals but I also have the option to source products from the best source.

Amazon prices got extreme in 2020 and have not relaxed. Something to consider.

Like I said, if you generally like Amazon, stop emailing the T1000 and call them. I'm not conversing or arguing with a robot personally.
