The track looks tiny when I see it against your garage door. But then when I see the track with your RC on it, the scale all works.
It looks like a fun set up for our basement maybe. I thought something like this for buggies would be fun as long as the cars can handle a few small jumps.
Your buggy looks like what I have in mind.

So about the cars... which ones do you like and why?
I never even saw a mini z in person yet so I'm really curious.
Any mods done to your cars?

I impulse bought a new RC..... A WLToys 284010. It's a newer version of the WLToys K969. I wanted a small car to run inside the garage when it's freezing or raining. I just hope that this doesn't spark a 24TH scale revolution for me.... I can't afford any Kyoshos but this car may make me want one! IDK if there are any Mini-Z tracks around but I wonder if it'd be possible to make this competitive.... We'll find out! Gonna update this thread when it arrives.
way to go @luke66 got me started on something else lol

I got these when they were on sale for $50. Best price I could find on the internet. I bought 3 boxes. The track you see there only required a little over 2 boxes, so plenty extra mats leftover should I need replacements.

The buggy is a Losi micro b. It is fantastic right out of the box! It does very well on the track in stock form with stock tires. Yes, it can handle jumps. With Mini Z's you will need to change to after market racing slicks to run on foam tracks.
There are tons of modifications/tuning that can be done to these Mini Z, for the serious racers. This is what Kyosho markets these Mini Z for. I'm just a have fun time with a home track kinda guy. So, I just swap out tires and just want to see how many laps I can do without crashing. My favorite Mini Z right now is my Vette.

I own one, and I like it and all, but the turning radius is terrible! It requires a lot of room to turn. It's no good on a Mini Z scale track.

Ah, but there's always a fix! First thing Imma fix will be that steering lol. I've seen some fixes round the 'net so I think I can get that turning radius down quite a bit.

Oh that 'Vette looks NICE! Aftermarket bodies like that can be fitted to the WLToys but you gotta drill some new holes and shorten the front shock tower. Maybe my next WLToys will be a road one?

Love those speed trails! ;)
I thought I was having flashbacks! 🤣

I'm not exactly a speedster, but I still enjoy it very much.

These little mini cars look like such a fun way to keep driving skills in practice or enjoy a rainy afternoon stuck indoors!!!

I do have problems with my hands. To the point that I do not enjoy wrenching on tiny parts etc.
I think I'd prob own a few dozen of them by now otherwise!
Even going 'not fast', the tiny tracks looks like BIG fun!!! 😍

I have no problem working on SCX24, but these Mini Z parts are crazy small!
I think you would enjoy the Losi micro b. They're very well designed, pretty tough, and solid performances.
I put SCX24 wheels and tires on this one of my 2.
