I want to make another build but have no idea what to do. I have talked about a SCX24/30 but I also want to do some more drifting as all my drift cars are super unreliable (exept for trusty ol' D12). Gimme ideas.
I wanna keep it under $350 but go ham

Rj Speed Spec Modified oval car. Stays within budget, it's a fun build, way more tuneable than you might think. Ripping around an oval is a ton of fun.

Are you just a builder or are you a problem solver too. My recommendation is to pick out one of your unreliable drifters and turn it into the car it should be. It took me 3 years of trial and error and respinning old ideas to turn my Sledge into the super truck it is today. Problem solving isn't a fast process but when I get it right there's a level of satisfaction I don't get from anything else.

I am working on them its just 2wd converting 4wd drifters is hard😅

Did someone say ham? The one below is only $244.

😁 :thumbs-up:

I love "what should I buy" threads, but you gotta give the fold (RCTalk) more info to go off of. There's so much in between a mini crawler and a drift platform. Does the $350 budget include everything like a radio, motor, ESC, servo, etc., etc., or just a kit?

I vote for something off-road capable and involves dirt... Louise RC LRX 1/10 Rally Kit

It took me months of tossing and turning; weighing the pros/cons. The RCTalk forum has a bunch of enablers. I'm sure more will show up shortly.

I saw the transition from drift to mini crawler too...figured anything goes for suggestions at that point.

I have a 1/10 drift track, 1/24 crawler course, 1/32 or smaller drift track and snow.
Then I would stick to one of those. I gave up RC for a LONG time due to getting bored always running by myself. 1/32 or smaller drift car seems like a nightmare to work on to me. I have 1/24 and 1/30 scale rigs, and DO NOT want any smaller for me personally.
