I impulse bought a new RC..... A WLToys 284010. It's a newer version of the WLToys K969. I wanted a small car to run inside the garage when it's freezing or raining. I just hope that this doesn't spark a 24TH scale revolution for me.... I can't afford any Kyoshos but this car may make me want one! IDK if there are any Mini-Z tracks around but I wonder if it'd be possible to make this competitive.... We'll find out! Gonna update this thread when it arrives.

I almost bought one last year. According to all the YouTubers, they seem to be pretty good little cars for what they are. I'm not a fan of the particular controller WLToys includes with them... I've used the radio on other WLToys cars and it's terrible. Hardly usable... tons of latency, weighs nothing, feels like you could smash it if you squeezed too hard, etc. But, what do ya expect for how cheap they are?? I'm surprised they even come with a radio and it's good enough to get ya by, unless you've been spoiled by good radio's already.

Its all about the fun you have with what you got, lol I started out looking for something fun and ended up with a Traxxas, then a Kyosho......then a RedCat.....then a LaTrax ......then another Kyosho......Then a Losi......and yet again,,,,,,another Traxxas its addicting I tell ya, ADDICTING! lol

I own one, and I like it and all, but the turning radius is terrible! It requires a lot of room to turn. It's no good on a Mini Z scale track.

I did similarly, except theres a scratch in my record...
I bought a Tamiya, another Tamiya, an RC10, then a Kyosho, then a Kyosho, then a Kyosho....

I have the Porsche body and the hoonigan looking truck. They are great for the money. Yes, the transmitters suck but they will smoke a miniZ and as long as you put the drift tires on, their a lot of fun. I almost prefer to run the Porsche over either of my mini Z's. At least the 'toys' run lipo's. Cmon kyosho!!
