What do you think of this trade?

Man, I don't know why I put myself through this but I'm getting involved in a trade. I have a Savage S25 roller with an HPI ribbed pipe and a dual disk brake kit. It is cleaned up real nice and looks new and is otherwise stock.
I'm talking to a guy to trade it for a Mugen MBX roller (non-prospec) with an HPI polished Savage pipe. It is stock except the front shocks are Ofna units.

Do you think this is a fair trade on both sides? I see used Prospec rollers going for about $300 on ebay so I wanted to get some other opinions on it.

Its a good buggy stock with room for upgrades if you feel the need.

Thanks Eddy. They guy dosen't have any pics but I'm going to call him on the phone on Sunday. I guess I'm mostly worried it will look like junk so I'm going to see if I can find references on this guy before I call him. If I go though with this it will be my third buggy. I seem to buy em in the beginning of the season and sell them at the end. I was just looking for someting that would be decent to race if I got the itch.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He told me vaim I'm he wants to ship at the same time because of a bad deal he had before. The guy is in Canada too. I'm thinking since I have good feedback references he needs to ship to me so I can check it out first. I've had to be the first to ship before and it sucks waiting.

Hmm, the name in his email is Harold Nightingale, but a phone number lookup reveals the name Randy Legault, but is in the town he gave me the postal code for.

Heh, you guys are right. I told him we have a trade but I also said I won't ship till Wednesday to give myself some time. I guess I'll call this guy and if he dosen't want to ship first I'll have to say deal off.

I wouldn't do it either, for the same reasons above.
Shipping from Canada can be a PITA, and not having a look at it........
Anyone can find a way to get a pic on the net in 2006.

Ha, I just told that guy I am backing out and he was PO'd. People think you have entereed a contract or something and you can't change your mind. Pbfffft
