That was from 3rd grade, in that one room school house on the prairie of Manhattan Island.
The earth had light, but not color. The sky and the grass were different shades of gray.
By the time I started 5th grade, men were exploring space, but space was still black, so I'm not exactly sure when we invented color to make all those gray haired Junior High girls look so hot.
