I use the gold class carnauba and it's always looked great. I may have to pick up their ceramic now though after seeing your car. It really has a nice shine!
I'm telling ya, just keep in mind that there is a 24 - 48 hour cure time. If it even sprinkles you'll get runs in the finish so plan accordingly and if it's gonna be rainy or nasty either wait for a dry spell or keep it in the garage for a few days if possible.
You can always re-work it, which I do not mind

Yea I remember that with the ceramic, good reminder though! I'm curious how the ceramic coating will look on our Crosstrek. That car is due for a detailing. ;)

I daily a 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk

It's like a mullet of the vehicle world: Business during the week: 25+MPG when I'm commuting to my office 60 miles away.
Party on the weekend: 4x4 go-kart in the woods with 9 inches of clearance and full skids.

On 95% of the trails we have here in Virgina, it keeps up just fine with my buddies lifted Yotas on 35s. Sure, I have zero flex and get into butt-puckering tire lifts quite frequently. I also have to use those skids and the skinny pedal on rocky trails...but that's what makes it fun. 🙃 Still running aired down HT tires too lol

It's one of the most fun vehicles I've ever owned. But if you ask any mall-crawling Wrangler owner, it is most definitely "NOT a real Jeep!" 😆

Doesn't have to be an all out offroad rig to have fun. I got Mrs Doom to do a little side hilling in her Subaru Outback, she was freaking out and grinning all at the same time because we were going around a giant puddle. One oops and we would have been swimming. I talked her through it. And she had a blast.

My boss has a mega decked out jeep, the best of everything. I think the most off road it's seen is a couple of trips to the beach. :(

around my neck of the woods, pristine, never seen dirt "overlanders" are very in fashion lol.

Hey, havin' fun is what it's all about!
We used to have way too much fun with a showroom stock Bronco II without hurting anything (much)!

Here too. It's a shame seeing all of those high performance parts going to waste. :(

A banged up 4x4 around here just means its well loved. Everything rusts, its all dented up by trees so a "real" trail truck is EASY to spot.

This is about 15 miles away...

Mrs Certified NEEDS a mud truck... 🤔

I drove my grandfather's '90 Bronco II for a short period of time when I was teen. (I've gotten so old that I can't remember WHY I was driving it)
I miss that truck to this day! She sure was ugly, but she ripped!

I'm an old man, so clearly I drive a Buick station wagon!
This is a 2018 Buick Regal TourX. They were made from 18-20. This is essentially a German wagon with an American engine. Made by Opel in Germany as the Opel Insignia and powered with the turbo four GM puts in the Camaro. GM sold Opel to Peugeot which was the end of the line for this car as a Buick.

I think that Caddie has the same engine! I know I've ordered rear cargo system bits that were never sold for this car, but for Caddies and Chevrolets. I'm running a sunglasses holder out of a Korean Chevy and shorter Opel rear headrests too. The GM parts bin is vast!

It probably rides very nice though, I have owned a few Buicks and always liked them. 🤘🏼

It is indeed nice and smooth. Exactly what I wanted. Since I already had a car that is the polar opposite. Which also makes it a little difficult as a ski vehicle, unlike this AWD wagon.

looks like those ski's fit just fine, idk what you're complaining about.

I would strap on some New Balance 608s and whip the poop out of that wagon!
