Just scored this on eBay for $287. Seems like a solid buy to me. I'm normally not big in to the Vintage scene but Stoners recent gold pan score made me want one just because of how iconic they are. Its got an Andy's Mods black plastics kit on it. Ill see how the Vintage Tekin Speedo and Reedy brushed motor work out. I may end up putting a brushless system in it. Nothing extreme, just something more modern. We'll see how it runs though :)

Nice score. I have gotten a pair of gold pans on this forum earlier this year. They are an awesome little buggy. I put a reedy brushless system from a dr10 in mine and it's been a blast and joy to drive. Not over powered but not slow either. Enjoy them

Yeah, I have quite a few extra brushless systems laying around. I imagine Ill end up sticking one of those in it.
