hey so i have a stock straxxas pede 2 weel drive and wanna do some upgrades befor, during, and after i get the brushless. Advice one what to get? what to do first? and also why?

I asked this guy at the hobby shop in Ottawa, Canada, and he said to stay cheep with plastic parts cuz they break and r easy and cheap to replace. He also said the metl parts arnt good cuz they will just bend and break other parts too, and it will cost more to fix. Help plz!!!

What exactly are us asking for in terms of help....I dotn fully understand the question.

1- what are good upgrades and why
2- what order should i get the upgrades in?
3- is it better to upgrade to metal parts, or stay plastic and cheap?

Alumium axle carriers, steering knuckles and bulkhead. Rpm everything else. Traxxas big bore shocks. Heat sinks for the motor and esc.

If you are thinking about a Brushless setup for your PEDE I'd pick up a FUZE system
I just got a FUZE motor/esc combo for my Losi XXX SCT

I have a Fuze set up in my SCX-10 scaler and it works pretty well.

The first thing you'll need to do on an older non VXL pede is update the entire tranny to the HD drive train or your fun will be short lived. Beyond that, the slider shafts tend to twist fairly easy too. As mentioned above, RPM stuff is top notch and they stand behind their stuff.
