so my charger took a dive. possible charges battery but only flashes 1amp light wont progress up as the battery charges. i charged same batteries on a similar charger and all seems fine. that stinks

You can get traxxas charge leads for just about any charger, typically purchased seperately.

There are lots of options out there for chargers and lots of good threads on here about them. I'd recommend reading up a bit on them before you buy one. I've used a dozen or so different chargers and so far, my favorite is the Hota D6 pro. Recommended to me by one of our wiser (old) members. Reasonably priced and will work well for your batteries.

Assuming your batteries have Traxxas ID connectors you will need charging leads/adaptors (something like shown below) to plug into the balance ports of "normal" chargers.

What battery charger do you recommend?
