Hey all,
I just got a HOTA D6 dual charger dc only input..what are you guys using for a charger cord setup. I see dc wall charger cords with an xt60 end but only rated for 3 volts...input shows it can take 6.5-30v.. Thanks for any info

12 gauge wire to XT60 connector.

I used to run my D6 and H6 Pro chargers off of a 12v server power supply with 13 gauge wire...

I don't know what your charging needs are, but if you need more than 165~168 watts/channel, invest in a DC power supply ≥24v. If you are looking to plug the charging straight into an AC outlet... you bought the wrong charger. You'll want the D6 Pro AC/DC charger that has internal power supply.

Thanks for the quick reply and pertinent info...don't have/need demanding charging as I am only looking for a more reliable and functional charger than the USB chargers that are included with most of the current 1/18 scale rigs today..I have other chargers for my 4s/6s rigs..The dual charging on a unit this small is what I was after..

Well, temporarily until I can investigate further for my ideal power setup for the D6 I made an xt60 connection for my 15.6v/5a Panasonic Toughbook power bank...working great for now.

Correct..basically just charging 1000 mah or less batteries for 1/18 scale..I have some 2200mah batteries for RC boats that would still be under that wattage. I have a couple larger chargers but they are cumbersome to carry around. There are still some Hota T240's floating around which is a direct AC wall plug and play. 29V/8.3A 240 watt that also works on the D6 if I need those battery demands.

Well, Aliexpress came thru once again..my mini 240W AC powered Hota unit arrived for the D6 charger..not clunky, small enough to be thrown in a carry bag along with the other RC travel goodies. 👍
That's a pretty slick-looking little unit! :thumbs-up:

My Hota D6 Pro has been one of my best-value R/C purchases. I hope your Hota power supply is as good.
