Gonna be adding these new parts all from STRC

CNC Machined Brass Lower Front Bulkhead x1

CNC Machined Brass Lower Suspension Hinge-pin brace x1

CNC Machined Brass Upper front arm mount x1 pair

CNC Machined Heavy Duty Aluminum Steering Servo Mounting Plate x1

CNC Machined Heavy Duty Aluminum Front Lower A-Arms x1 pair
CNC Machined Aluminum Bulkhead Mounting Blocks x1 pair

CNC Machined Aluminum Steering bellcranks x1 set

Since I saw them on this list and know nothing about crawlers yet...
Are crawlers generally good with metal arms and such?
For bashing and racing they are generally not a good idea so I'm curious if its different.

As I JUST mentioned, I'm noob to crawling but your list of upgrades means you're loving r/c! AWESOME!!!

Congrats. I'm waiting to be paid to grab an scx10 kit. If they run out then I'm going this route. Can't wait to see it modded out.

Crawlers are not as abusive on parts as bashers and racers. Slow pace is much less stressfull than those big jumps and high speed tumbles. Also on crawlers the more weight you can add down low below the center of gravity the better it performs.

Honestly have no idea I’m just kinda building it how I like hopefully if it’s all metal it can take some abuse I’m gonna brake it no matter what it’s made out of I’m temporary stuck on a small screw I don’t have a bit for so need to get @majin to bring the tool bag

I can’t wait to get it together and try it out I’m supper happy with the quality in the parts the brass seems like it’s gonna be in all the right places

It's fun when you start seeing the performance improve as you start making changes. Not all changes are good but that's what keeps it challenging. Enjoy the process!

That’s definitely on the way I feel with the ifs I couldn’t make a max potential crawler so kinda just going for more of a bouncer/crawler build on this one until I brake the ifs then gonna swap axels

yeah @270Crawlers trail walker now has aluminum arms EDIT: i changed the arms to the aluminum rather than the brass i wrongly said
