Has anyone else got the new toolkit M8D yet ...... touch screen dual channel charger ? I can absolutely attest to its ease of use. the touch screen isn't the best but it is deff intuitive and easy to use .... only issue i have had so far is the touch screen did not adhere with the glue they used and it actually tried to come off .... but a little ca glue solved the issue

For the price, it is/was a top of "what charger to get next" wish list, but I'm still waiting for all the reviews to change my mind. There's at least one let down, for me, when looking at the features. Is it enough to sway me?

honestly it's a really good charger ... fast and completely customizable.... I love it ... like I said the only 2 things that I have to complain about ( if you can say they are complaints) is one my screen didn't adhere properly and I had to glue it so ...resolved ... and 2 is the screen touch is a bit ify at times ... but the scroll wheel works great and easy to use ... the user interface however is great and you can save custom charge profiles ( which is like alot )

That's the same power supply that I have/use. I just don't see any specs for input voltage needed to get maximum 800 watts per channel on the Toolkit M8D charger. I'm gonna bet a power supply ≥ 24v would be needed to get to the 328w/channel power requirement that I'm after.

Do you charge any 6S LiPo packs?

24V would get you close, but you'd need at least 27V to get you all the way there. That's at 60A max, though, so you'd be pushing the PSU to or past its limit. Since it supports up to 49V input, I would run it on 48V. That will be the easiest on the PSU.
