OK, so as some of you no I have been building my own little Maxx. So now I have it together ready to run,but nooo. This picco p2 .21 is driving me freakin nuts. It fires right up and I do a little tuning to the HSN and it sounding mean and ready then I hit the throttle and it dies every time. I do not no what the stock settings are for the LSN or the HSN or the idle. If any body has any info or a web site I would be very grateful.Oh and I have all new lines so I would not this air leak or a hole.
Thanks guys, Wayne :surrender:surrender

Hmm.... If it was too rich you would have a flooding problem, so I'm guessing lean. Try 4.5 turns out on the HSN for stock, should get you in ballpark range. (stock on the .26 is flush with the HSN housing, try that if 4.5 turns doesn't work)

Since it dies when you hit the throttle, you need to adjust the LSN. Put the nose up against something solid, and as you adjust it a little at a time, pull the trigger in quick bursts to see if it's making power. When you KNOW it's pulling hard without dying, run it. At that point, tweak your HSN for WOT.

You always break things down and make things seem so simple... I guess that's the reason for your new logo's below your name!

if it wasn't for Rolex especially and about 5 or 6 other guys that always are the ones to take the time to break things down for someone like me, I would be so frustrated and wouldn't enjoy this hobby nearly as much. Thanks again to you all!!

Well, thanks to both of you. If these things NEVER caused a problem and ALWAYS ran perfectly, I'd probably be hanging out on a Tent Pin Repair forum.

OK ,flush on the HSN and put the front of my rig up against something solid then turn my LSN in towards or (lean it) till it does not die when I hit the throttle. Then try running it and from there set the HSN for high speed . I love ya man! LOL And I agree with the other statements. Thanks, cause you no my disability situation and its hard to get out there with the car,tools....etc.

I got the beast running and it was killer sick and fast pulling whellies . Then all hell broke loose or at least the back diff broke. Any body have one cheap for a t maxx 2.6 but I would like to get a 5.5 Diff if it fits right in.

A friend of mine once told me that if you're not breaking stuff you're not having fun. Keep on having fun!

YHEA, i LIVE FOR BREAKING STUFF! I ordered a diff with all hardned metal gears inside. Man, I knew I would break something when it started running. It was a great two minutes. My rig want move with front wheel drive only :) But it does not suck muvh in the presure line, is that normal? or what is the norm? I mean I dontt expect it to suck to my skin.

Man I worry about myself. I was thinking it pulled vaccume, but that would not work.

haha not as bad as me - I learnt the hard way that it deff blows when I was trying to fix my first (of many) engine issues - car started reving REAL high and wouldn't die with wet cloth over exhaust so I ripped the fuel line off the engine and it squirted fuel all over me the car my friend the deck and anything else within a few feet :D now know my fuel system has good pressure
Ahhhh good times

my fuel line runs from the tank straight up the side of it, Is that not good having it straight up?

Just posted a pic but my fuel line runs from the tank straight up the roll bar.

you should be fineas long as it's not excessive ammounts of fuel line.....with those Picco maxx drop ins you should be sealing the carb and backplate with hi-temp RTV as well...those mills are known to come right from the factory with airleak issues..nothing you can't correctwith a little RTV sealant......if you find yourself chasing the tune chances are you've got the leak.....I had a .21 picco in my maxx and it about drove me nuts until I sealed it myself.....
