My obsession has returned big time! Let’s see those builds, current/on-going, Old/New

I’ll go first, Here’s my Savage X 4.6 I picked up off a friend, going through a build process as it’s been sat for over a year!

And then what I believe to be a Savage 4.6ss ( I could be wrong ) picked up off the same guy but needs some TLC which will be done in the near future..

Nitro Drag Slash. Running but still in the works. Looking for an effective way to securely mount the wheelie bar. Dynotech RC has offered to custom build a carbon fiber one wheeled bar based off his jato version, but I've yet to pull the trigger.

Also it's converted to bump start, but I need to commission someone to design and 3D print a more secure mounting system for this thing to fit the box.

The red bodied tmaxx is a complete stock truck. Motor was gummed up and I went through and rebuilt the rear differential


The blue one was one I picked up cheap. $50. Motor was ruined. Pieced together a rebuilt motor from parts. Runs great.



The pink one is a complete stock tmaxx with an os21 motor.


The bug is 2.5 revo I bought as a chassis. I’ve replaced nearly every part on it as it broke. And put a 3.3 in it with an os11k carb.


I don’t have any current pics of my dynamite Mach 2 tmaxx. But, I used to run the red body on it.


I’m working on a revo 3.3 chassis now. Still need the ported piston and sleeve to finish it up. Run out of rc funds and time. But, I’ll get back on it in December and get it done. No pics of it yet.

Don't let the blue one fool you... that wasn't bought rtr, I built it from the ground up. 2.5r. Nothing special.
The 3.3 swb I just finished not long ago, its the basher.

They do the function they're needed for, why would I replace something that works?

Here's a thread where I wrapped up 4 builds, all on the HSP platform - 2 onroads that hit 50 and 53mph, a wheelie-popping TRX-3.3-powered monster truck, and a 2-speed .18 buggy that could hit 45mph on concrete. There's pics and vids of all of them in that thread, but here's the group pic:

Hex head grade 12.9… like every RC should have.

I've had a couple HSPs before, but all were before I really new nitro and RC. Really can't beat the value. I think an on road one might actually be pretty fun for me nowadays. Maybe i should invest

Lots of fun to mod and upgrade, or just drive till the wheels fall of. Just make sure you get the "pivot ball" suspension version, it's more tunable and nicer overall - more solid, less wobble/give. You'll want a "94122", not "94102" which is the older version but still produced, apparently.
