i AM THINKING ON TRADING HER FOR AN e mAXX OR SELL AND GET ONE. gAS IS GETTTING DIFFICULT. bUT IF NOT IT WANT HURT MY FEELINGS ANY. sorry for the caps.
 
that engine is NOT a good one for beginers......the tuning has to be exact.....does it idle consistantly? meaning do you hear the idle smooth or does it fluctuate slightly...if it's not smooth then you do have an airleak.....did you seal the back plate and carb throat?...alot of people use an OS RG carb and mill the throat till it fits......I've seen that mod on a few myself and it does make a world of difference.....I would seriously suggest getting a new mill like the OS .18...not the TM or TZ ones but a slide carb .18 mill......they are fairly cheap and will be more than enough power AND be consistant.........

I think you have to get a pilot shaft to use it on a maxx I think.... or the TM isn't much more now I see...this should drop right in....

I know buying something new for a frustrating toy feels like poop but that mill you have is really a PITA.....I had one and it ran like a scalded ass dog...When it ran right.....but if the planets were looking funny at each other (screw alligning) the thing gave me headaches all day long........

don't give up there is a point where it becomes clear as mud....adn tuning is like breathing.....
 
thanks man, I need to look into a different engine then. It fires up great and idles great but she is a PITA most of the time to stay running, but like you said when she does it is nasty fast and strong. Pulls the front up non stop and a 3.3 can't stay no where close to it.
