That will be happening as long as humans are on this planet.... companies want to hire 21 year olds and never hire 50 year olds with 30 years of experience.
I should add, the kid was probably one of the sharpest engineers I have ever worked with. But all book smarts. He had a real knack for certain aspects of the job. But yeah, he had zero experience machining anything other than composites.

Took the hbx for a few jumps since I am not afraid of flipping it like I am the sct

As I drove out the door my son said what are we doin dad?
I said breaking stuff.
We both laughed
It wasn't even q hard hit this time lol
On a side main nite
These A arms on the hbx consistently break on me seems to be the weakest point
O well I DO enjoy a good repair lol

Took the Baja bug to the beach on Saturday. I was going to get some footage of it in action in the sand as requested but I didn't get much run time. I could tell something wasn't right. It lost reverse and it sometimes wouldn't steer or respond. I had a look and found the esc fan wasn't working. ESC was probably overheating or the bad fan was causing glitches. So that was the end of that. Not all rc outings are successful.

For now, I have fitted a random fan I had laying around but have ordered a 25mm rocket fan.

Hopefully I'll get time to take it to the beach again before the end of my leave.

So this may be a bad post from me
I don't exactly know which one is broke
But I looked at my cleared off table and found a mystery grub screw this morning....
Have had each of my vehicles off and on the table and absolutely no clue now which vehicle it came from... Throwing it in a bag and taking it in the trail box
Eventually somethings gonna come loose
Lolol
I could look at each of the axles after work but where's the adventure there

Aluminum arms could have caused that

My guess, you crashed, the arms experienced the impact first, it sent the energy and forces to the caster block and the steering hub.

Don't get me wrong, aluminum arms are nice if your using them on a car for a display car or shelf car, but if your looking to actually run it and beat it up, not really the best

On the rental car. RIP fan. The case for it was cracked already. Fan blew out. And then the case just fell apart in my hands.
ESC mount cracked. which I tried to reglue but cracked again.
Battery slid forward and went right into the steering rack post because its only velcro-ed down.

Was coming up from the alley into the yard and we have parking strips. Well theres no grass just dirt between the 2 strips and theres like 2in of concrete from the strips sticking up. My bad, went a bit too little to the right and straight into the strip.

Does the dent in the battery ok? Cause its balancing out just fine and IRs look fine too.
