Those Traxxas hinge pins are garbage. They come unthreaded on their own because it's another one of those "dumbest designs in RC" items. Buy these next time.

The STRC ones, along with a lot of their stuff, has been on backorder for some time on Amain. It's almost like they are going out of business. I have parts I have been waiting on since last year.

That’s what happens with everything they decide they’re done making. They did the same with the archaic .5 stuff as well. They could very well be closing up imo though.

Despite my desire to rip the boxes open and start playing, I am collecting parts so I can hopefully finish at least my track car. I'd REALLY like to start running it, get it set up and get some practice time in.

I'm trying to get stuff for the Mad Wagon together too.

No time spent with the NB4 yet really.

I still need to order a few servos and some batteries before I'll be ready I think.

Lots to buy and build still for sure!

I am looking into some designs for paint too.
Its warm out so I need to get moving.
I need to get a few bodies fitted and painted now bwfore its snowing again!

Despite my desire to rip the boxes open and start playing, I am collecting parts so I can hopefully finish at least my track car. I'd REALLY like to start running it, get it set up and get some practice time in.

Cool, I've kind of spent my budget for the month since i still have quite a bit of saving up to do for my new dream transmitter when it comes out in November. Let us know when you get a chance to play with the NB4, I'd love to hear about it although i still plan to get the new iXSR when it comes out.

I've been 'sale and deal' shopping. Finding great prices on stuff I need is awesome! I try not to wait too long and regret 'the deal I just missed out on...'

Sounds like you got some cool stuff coming, I sure have some big awesome planned for late this year and next year but the first thing i plan to get is that radio i'm hoping to able to secure one once preorders open up for them also once me and my family get out to Tucson and i save back up some bucks i plan to get that new X-Maxx Ultimate. Of course i'll have to sell my old X-Maxx before i get the ultimate and i plan to do that before the move to Tucson.

I remember one of my old neighbors in Moore used to have a 1st gen Focus it eventually broke down like most Ford cars of it's period did. Cus Ford's cars were lemons except for Mustangs and their trucks.

This is a Duratec so technically is just a Mazda in Ford badges.
Its the only reason the car is still running I'm sure!
Its fine for a commuter, almost 300k miles on it now. I keep it running because its so simple to work on and gets 35mpg still!
Its not a great car otherwise.
Goes fine in snow and since I got into an accident, the car has actually made me money. ( the Focus TOTALLED a Grand Marquis and only needed sheet metal to repair it!!!)

I don't like Ford really. This car has been damn near indestructable short of a mysterious hole in the transmission.
That was cheap to fix too.

Shoulda bought a 7.3 my dad had two of them a 2001 and a 1999 one was a 4x4 the other was a RWD.

I'm a fan of Ford's 3\4 ton to 1 ton trucks but the only cars i liked from them are the GT and Mustang GT. I see your point and you know my family had some vehicles that had the same engine as the Taurus did the Duratec\Vulcan 3.0L V6 we had an 94 Aerostar and a 2008 Ranger and we had very little problems with them. Although the earlier Taurus' weren't the greatest they tended to overheat a friend of my Dad had a 90's Taurus it eventually broke down. My Mom had a 91 Mazda MX-6 GT it was a Half Ford and Half Mazda it broke down due to a pickup coil that was an Autozone one and not a genuine Ford motorcraft one this was back when the Japanese used to partner with US automakers like Chrysler and Mitsubishi Ford and Mazda GM and Isuzu.

I ordered some rims for my Super Baja Rey I ordered last weekend.

Also ordered a chassis brace, since I have seen plenty of video of the whole back half flexing like crazy when landing even small jumps.
Figured this was a must have upgrade if I am going to have a Super Baja Rey.

Plus ordered some window nets for it, just because I like them. LOL

I snagged one of these just before they went off sale.
They were 20% or $200 off at the time.
Looks like went back to $1K today.

Still really enjoying my buying experience with Nankin's website. Free shipping, no tax, still has a discount points system, my local Hobby town dropped their discount points system. Makes a big difference, those points really add up.
