I saw that dude in the back of your other post! Love me a 68-72 A-body! It’s the right color to boot! What seats did ya decide on? I’m not sure what all Summit offers for seating these days, but I know the Pro-Car stuff wasn’t bad at all for the price.. They actually used to have a pair of copies that were similar to the Recaro’s I had in my ‘71 442 clone. You exhibited far more restraint than I would’ve, if all ya walked out with were the seats..
You got it, Elite Dlx with lumbar. Can't wait to get them installed!the Pro-Car stuff wasn’t bad at all for the price.
Yep!You got it, Elite Dlx with lumbar. Can't wait to get them installed!
Gotta refurb a set of seats belts first.
Like I said. You can check out but you can't leave.Glad to see ya stickin’ around dude.![]()
@Suburban_Hooligan 's worse nightmareI did pickup a 2025 Slash Ultimate.
Was sort of expecting to see more improvements or changes then I am seeing when comparing it to my older Ultimate slashes from 2016, 2017, 2018, early 2019. Some of my older Ultimates did have OBA and what looks to be the HD drive axle shafts, adjustable shocks a few aluminum bits., and the very oldest versions did have the smaller axles and plastic knuckles.

I did have to ditch that crazy painted body it came with. I really hated that body back in 2018,19 when they came out with it and the only difference fast forward 6-7 years is the clip-less body bits they came out with over the past year or so. I don’t know why , but I was expecting more to have changed over the past 5-6 years than the addition of the clip-less body. I have no doubt it’s still a premium RC, but I am going to say the new Pro-scale slash/F150 Raptor R ultimate is on a significantly higher content / quality level in comparison .
I am planning to run the new Black and orange Fox clip-less body on the new 25 Ultimate. Just can’t really go for that wild green and black body.

The Slash ultimate in the classic black and white fox body setting beside the new , I had converted to clip-less with a $30 kit li installed last week.
Other then chassis color and clip style body it appears to be the same SC truck.

Here was my 2nd one getting back into the hobby after an almost 10 year hiatus. An old fox edition VXL HCG i had great memories with it until i sold it in 2024 as a rolling chassis.

An old beat up HCG Slash 4x4 that was converted to 6s i got in a trade.

Awesome, The bottom one looks just like the one i used to have almost 15 years ago except mine came with the Traxxas Link 2.4Ghz radio. This one i believe before they switched to the TQi.Very Nice Looking slashes.
I am pretty sure I have a Jenkins slash from around that 2010 Era.

I am pretty sure the one setting under the very rare Ram body version is the exact same model you pictured from 2010.

Yep, all my Radios got mixed up when I moved around 6 years ago. It’s just not been a priority to get the shelf queen’s radios all sorted out yet.Awesome, The bottom one looks just like the one i used to have almost 15 years ago except mine came with the Traxxas Link 2.4Ghz radio. I admit it was the nicest radio i had ever owned back then yet it looks so basic but still nice. But nowadays i have both a Spektrum DX6C and a Futaba 4PM the DX6C runs on the majority of my cars and will be moving up an iXSR v2 in the next couple of months when it comes out.Yep, all my Radios got mixed up when I moved around 6 years ago. Good eye, that’s likely not that trucks radio seen behind it. Lol
I have several of those older radios setting in a box just waiting for me to sort out which trucks they go too.
Yep. Pretty sure you do in your fastest name in radio control sct museum.Very Nice Looking slashes.

What type of comps is she going to run?
What type of comps is she going to run?
I have a KIDD ultralight weight barrel that while there is no accuracy guarantee, it shoots lights out.
