Bb guns have the tube on the end like this one does that's painted orange to identify it as a toy. Never saw a real gun with the end of a muzzle like that is all.

It's a threaded barrel with a thread protector installed, so I can run my suppressor on it.

Rovan 5b came in today... Was expecting way worse for being a clone and how bad some folks talks about it. Plastics are super supple, aluminum looks to be machined, fit and finish is just as good/bad as any other RTR I've seen, etc. Rear tires feel terrible, suspension setup is horrendous and the "tuned" pipe is a bit cheap... all things that id expect on a RTR, even one that costs more... So, I can't complain. I feel I got a LOT considering what I paid. Granted my expectations were super low, but I feel some of the distain towards these things is a bit dramatic.

We'll see though once it warms up and I get to put it through its paces. My positivity may change!

Oh no!!! Coming OUT of the 'almost fixed' closet. (Coincidently also the 'Xmas stuff' closet!)
If I do this just right, I can, piece by piece, swap xmas mess for r/c mess and no one will catch on at all!
THIS is the perfect time to add a car or 3 to the collection too! Plausible deniability WILL hold up in court!

I used to buy the Megatron Interstate batteries. Exceptionally good batteries!
At least you got good quality for your cash!

I use them exclusively in all my vehicles because they’re so cheap at Wally World… never had a problem that wasn’t related to the vehicle itself, even in sub zero temps (-40). I used to hate on them because “Walmart” but I’m glad I swallowed my pride Same battery for half the price sometimes lol

I suggest you take it out and put it in the garage overnight with a blanket.

Johnson Controls makes batteries for a LOT of different companies.
I think for Interstate and Walmart too.
Interstate isn't in my area. Warranty is useless if I need to drive 50 miles for a replacement.
I have 1 Walmart battery with no issues.
I also have an Oddessy and that thing is pretty good too.

I've always had great luck with amazon servo's.
I had a expensive Savox die on me. Go figure.
