Christmas is all paid for so the wife said go for it.
I was going with a dark wood neck but I am a maple guy so I know I would have
been disappointed so I ordered maple.

So there I was... wondering why I have two Slash 4x4 models, when all of a sudden, through no fault of my own, I get an order confirmation email from Jenny's RC listing all the parts needed to turn one of them into a JATO 4x4!

Yeah, it came pretty quick. I wasn't expecting it until Tuesday or Wednesday.
My bridge is in Boise so it will be here tomorrow, strings Tuesday.
This guitar is super nice so I'm letting the neck acclimate for a little while.
It's not that cold out but don't want to take any chances.
