I picked up some seemingly nice detail brushes and a cool little holder for them. :)

LMAO!! I've wanted to try out the drift thing for a long time. But entry costs were just way too high just to try it out. I figure I'll get bored running by myself, same as I did with other RC stuff, but we will see. Dang gyro cost almost as much as the whole car setup. LOL

LOL, I was just commenting to WF earlier that I bet you paid as much for that gyro as you did the car :)

My son has been wanting a drift car. One of these days I'll build him one.

I've played with a few small scale cars that would drift fine in my kitchen. One we pulled the tires off and it was a blast drifting around on the rims.
Oh yeah, there will be kitchen drifting here too. Just so happens our linoleum is checkered flag pattern. 😁

I can drift in the garage, so small scale shines there.
My garage is full of crap and my kitchen is pretty small. Hopefully when our office moves we will have some open floor space. ;)

Needed some tiny pivot balls for my SK's center damper system. The balls did fit in my link ends, but they're a snug tight. The ball does move around when I stick a wrench through it. I think they'll loosen up over time.

Huh interesting, never seen those before. I'll try to reem the rod ends just a tiny bit with my regular reamer. :thumbs-up:
Those ball reamers are adjustable to some extent with the screw in the end of the ball.

What you could try is put a dab of polish on the balls and use your screwdiver to work them in a bit. I had to do that before. But I ran a long screw through the ball with a nut tightening the ball on it and used my drill to spin the screw. Polished them in pretty good.

I ended up just getting different ones with the ball already in the ends lol. All I gotta do is trim the rod end.... ends with some flush cuts. Good thing my LHS is walking distance away lol.
