Got my Proline Baja Bug body today. Don't know which rig it's going on yet but I have some choices.

Needed a new pit stand, and a buddy sold me a new extra reamer he had. Also got a magnetic mat from my Snap-On dealer so I don't lose screws so easily (I've lost so many screws in the past lol)

I have never done it but my thought is to box in the cover with something (dont know what yet), with just enough lip on the cover to sit on the edge of the bed so that it sits snug in place. I was also thinking of ways for a simple hinge to lift the cover...maybe just a thin piece of lexan or something flexible secured to the cover and the back wall of the bed

Now that would be cool.

I'm thinking of cutting the body and gluing a small screw and magnets to hold the last section so I can lift it up. I got some tiny hinges......

My Lexan get's here tomorrow so after I eat me an entire chocolate Easter bunny I'll start working on mine. I may have to steal a few Lego pieces from my son to use for boxing in the cover. Heck I may even use a Lego hinge
A little trimming so it sits level with the top of the bed (and to disguise that its lego) and black color if he has it and I may be in business.

Picked up a race servo for my pan car. Was going to get a S9650, but this servo is a step up of the S9650 for like $20 more. Should finally be able to start wrenching in a few weeks. I'm a big fan of Futaba

They have nice servos. I used to grab 3305 all day for my old nitros.

Well, my Furitek Max Smasher chassis showed up today. No screws. It's funny because it has 1 review on Amain saying the exact same thing. I tried contacting Furitek on the phone multiple times. No answer. Tried live chat... crickets. So I called Amain, and they are sending me another complete chassis. They even said they will verify the screws are in there before they ship it. Hell yeah Amain... you guys freakin rock! Furitek... you guys SUCK!

Oh, and this "White" chassis is not white. It is clear anodized. So it's silver. Pretty bummed!

This was fast. Gotta love Amain customer service!

So I picked up this the other day…under recommendation from a friend. Holy crap is this thing a blast. Its 1/28 drift truck, comes with rubber tires which drifted pretty good in kitchen. I also grabbed a set of plastic tires
