Just ordered a new desktop. Figured it's time to move my current one down to be my media server as it's closing in on 8 yrs old... Just a refurb HP Envy with a i7-6700 cpu. My current is a 4770 and my media pc is an 870. New one isn't much faster than my current one, but was a good price and will be nice to retire the old machine before it croaks on me and I have to rush to replace it.

You might want to look at at adding an SSD as an OS drive. They're pretty cheap and faster than the traditional spinning drives. Olds.

Yep. Have them in all my PC's. I also have external backup clones of all PC's that run an SD drive. I clone them about once a month just to keep a fresh backup in case one of the SSD's tanks on me. An hour of work a month is worth the peace of mind. Then I can literally pull out the offending drive and put in it's clone and I'm back online in 15 minutes.

well I'm bored on a slow day at work so... I bought (last night)
a new center gearbox housing for my Savage X SS because the bottom screw hole for the screws that hold the brakes in is stripped
the fiberglass brake set because the stainless steel ones actually are terrible I've discovered.
more threadlock
a set of those metal engine mount brace things that go under the engine mount because one of the screw holes seems to be slightly messed up after taking the truck apart and putting it back together a bunch of times (screw won't go all the way in, maybe filled with excess threadlock?)
a new rubber exhaust deflector because the one i have is barely hanging together
A new brake cam/piston set because the little brass piece fell out and got lost last time my brakes fell apart because of the before mentioned stripped screw hole (but I made a replacement cam out of plastic sprue and it actually works!)
aaaaaand the integy metal throttle mix arm because the plastic one does flex a bit and metal would look cool.

Dewalt 20v 3/8" drive impact gun to go with some 12 point deep well socket sets I just picked up. I'm working my way up to the big boy, 700 ft-lbs of torque and 1200 ft-lbs of breakaway torque.....the bolts on my little French car won't know what hit them. Now I need to find these 20v batteries over here, my combo set came with some little guys and AAFES blows over here.

Sounds like you need to to take a "space-a" flight back to this side of the pond and visit Lowes or Home Depot, Schrode.

Just bought a cheap waterproof 20kg servo to try out instead of the savox 0231 I already bought. Figured it was worth a try for $14. lol

I visited it 20+ years ago while on the last REFORGER. It was a lot nicer than the main exchange at Ft. Riley.

Well... doesn't really have a brand. I'm not expecting much. If you go to ebay and search for "K3 Waterproof High Torque Metal Gear RC Servo", it's the first one. Has KS-3620 on the sticker in the photo and "PowerServo Life 6.6v Digital 20KG" on the side. Ebay item: 222294599920

^^I always wanted one of those things!

SMSL SA-98E amplifier. The little SA50 I got is having issues, and having to send it back. Tired of messing around, going to match up output with max supported wattage. That way, in games that have X Sim I can crank it up when needed, and for games that don't have it, I can simply turn it back down.

A 4 x 2 sheet of 1/2" thick top grade birch plywood as a topper for the table I had my VESA mount bolted to. The little table just couldn't take the weight with the arm extended out where I like it. It ain't going anywhere now though.

Yep, learned that one the hard way myself at a younger age. Started out at low elevation and temps in the high 40's to low 50's. Got up high and ran into sleet and snow LOL. Hope you get to feeling better Lloyd.

I won on auction the other day a Shindaiwa gas hedgers ,waiting for it to come in the mail.
Its used an non working from a shop were the customer refused to repair ,got it for 35 bucks + 28
bucks for shipping ,total of about 64 bucks.A good deal considering how expensive they are an
I need to have them for my gardening business!
I run other Shindaiwa stuff in that engine class ,so I should have parts for the fix!...

I live on a budget now ,so rc parts will be at the bottom of my need list!...

I've got this Tsais exhaust on the way. With this style header it should fit my 8 shock setup and allow me to test out some other pipes.
