My 1up USA bike rack showed up Friday. 100% designed, machined, and assembled in the USA. They're more expensive than other racks, but it's hands down one of the nicest cycling accessories I've ever owned.

A new Vantec USA NexStar DX External 5.25-Inch Optical Drive enclosure.

My new PC only has a slot large enough for laptop dvd drives. The fastest bluray ROM drive I could find that would fit was 6X, and wasn't very cheap. So, I found an LG external that was supposedly 16X like the internal I had in my other PC. Then recently, it started to stop being recognized and throwing errors when ripping my blurays for my network. I tore it apart and found that it was a pretty standard sata 14X 5.25" drive inside. I took the drive out of the LG fitted enclosure and plugged it into a spare USB3 back plane piece, it continued to throw errors. I jimmied my old 5.25 blu-ray into the LG box and it seemed to work fine. After a little finagling, it fit inside the box fine too. Was too late though, already ordered a proper external bay for it. Still could come in handy... maybe get a second 14x blu-ray drive so I can do two at the same time. Which is only useful when we buy more than one bluray at a time.

A Winchester SXP Shadow Defender 20 gauge Zombie gun. (I'm ready now!) Still need to get the laser and light for it. And I'm going to put it in a SecureIt Tactical Harrier Fast Box.

Now I'm kind of glad it died... With my old 16X LG blu-ray drive in the new external enclosure, I'm getting 30MB+ transfer rate! The most the other one would do was 16MB. Cutting my copy time in half is nice.

With my 16X drive in the old external container (after bending a few things to make it fit), it was topping out around 20M. So mechanically and electronically, it was considerably slower.

Salsa from a local Mexican restaurant. Its so damn good. Also bought oil filters for my dads and my bikes, new in tank (fuel pump) filter and Cycra skid plate for my bike.

Can drive down the highway in reverse now haha @HPIguy

After about a year of experimenting with various things on my single speed mountain bike, I ordered a new bike. I also ordered the spacer kit, SS cog, and a shim for my dropper post. The shop owner and I will immediately strip it of all the shifters and gears, and throw those in a box. I rode one at a demo day, should make a for rowdy, fun as hell SS. I'll post some pics in the outdoors thread when it's done.

I bought a used brake drum assembly, and drive chain for my champion 730A-VHP. The old brake drum disintegrated and took the front drive chain with it....now I'm broke, and in dept to my credit card, and just as I was about to pay it off and cancel my visa.

I'm really getting tired of the grader, I just put an 840 Cummins in it, and now the tandems are starting to let go, I should just finally get a new one.

You have a road grater? @Alexander_0_1

I know how you feel. We have two hay stackers, the ford 460 in one overheated and seized, so during the summer I put a new one in (long block) only to have the oil pump rod fall out when I had to replace a dead distributor, burned the brand new engine up in 30 seconds. Finally at the end of summer we got it going again with another new one, but they the Perkins diesel in our other one finally pooped out on us.

I have 2 champion 730A-VHP, 2 backhoes, one is a JCB 213 w/extend-a-hoe option, and another is a Case 530I with a thump option on the back bucket, and 1 bobcat with nothing special about it.

This is the only pic I have at the moment of one of the champion 730, this is after I put the 840 cumin in it.
