alright project toxic closet is done. mold gone. junk stuffed back in there (after weeding out some junk). 2 bedrooms and the hallway smell like bleach now. 😵 even sprayed the walls with some stuff that's supposed to help prevent it from coming back.

I have a closet that did that, I cut out the door and screwed a grille over it.
i have duel doors and always leave at least 1 door open about 3". it helps, but i still have issues.
and when the room was painted (20 years ago now) we used some mold prevention additive in the paint. it helped but there's just no stopping it.

is that who uses OnTrac for tracking?
never got an email about it being out for delivery. no email about it being delivered. but now the tracking is showing that it's been delivered. sooo...
I don't use their tracking, so idk. But, I do know they do deliveries on Sundays.

Nowadays, I typically shy away from Horizon Hobby/Tower Hobbies. For whatever reason, I went to check out Arrma and Team Losi Racing websites for info. I clicked on my saved bookmarks.... takes me straight to HH. :(

Here comes a d-bag first world problems rant about a family vacation...I'm sorry, have to get it out:

Got back from the beach Saturday night. Came home a day early because the rain and storms would not let up. We were able to go out on the beach once, on the first day. Out to the fishing pier once, for about an hour, between storms. We did a lot of eating at restaurants (all of our favorite spots are now terrible...who the hell overcooks steamed shrimp at a seafood restaurant NEXT TO THE ACTUAL OCEAN), shopping, and hit a couple indoor arcade type places for the kids. On Friday, the highway flooded out and we were literally stuck on the island with the only option for leaving being a ferry.... wife and I did two puzzles that day. It got to the point where I would sit out on the balcony and wait for the rain to stop so I could go walk the dogs. As soon as we would get outside, it would start raining again. It felt like the trip was haunted.

This was our once yearly trip which usually consists of driving out on the beach and fishing all day, every day we're there. I've done this every summer since I was in my mom's womb in 1986.

I am not one of those dads who hates family vacations, but this one kicked my ass. I'm feeling like I may be burnt out on my home away from home. :(

When you need that time to recharge, and it ends up more stressful it sucks! Sorry about the weekend, we have had this happen to us, but the opposite. We went to the coast and for some reason there was a miserable heatwave. They are not set up for that kind of weather, few places have AC at the coast. it was not a good time.

the once mostly quiet home insulation place behind work that's been empty sense October now seems to be some kind of shipping hub. Friday it was empty. today its full of cars and metal carts being rolled around and people loading cars (mostly Tesla's and Priuses with the occasional mini van). and i can see why packages get delivered in the condition they do. toss on cart. wheel through bumpy concrete parking lot, toss on ground, "organize" into piles. force tetris into vehicle.
