Yup, that's a rant.
Froggy, we'll miss you buddy. :(

#fuckcancer We lost my wife's aunt about 2 years ago to it....62. And a couple years before a very close friend of ours at 49...47 diagnosed. Both of them literally swept off their feet by it. I was helping my friend pack up their house. This was going on for a few days already. And one of us would say "wanna have a drink?" lol at some point because this was one of our last few days together before they moved to the west coast. So yeah..day drinking it was. Then the one day she said "no not feeling it today" I jokingly said "whata ya sick?" I think it was that night or the next her husband brought her to the hospital. And it was a rough time for a bit. But in a blink it changed.

I've lost a number of people in my life and a few to cancer. You think you're healthy one day doing everything right and then. Gone. Love the people that love you. Because someday you might be the person they need or someday they might be the one you do.

Cancer is a liar and a cheat.
Stole my sister. 49. She ran the Boston marathon the year prior. She got treated, she was better until she wasn't.

F@ck cancer is f'ing right! 🤬

Seems like lately a lot of ppl are dying of cancer. Each time it takes someone, its like the scab rips some more and makes the wound a little deeper.

I'm really sad for everyone who has been thru it or loves someone who has been thru it. Cancer hurts everyone it touches.

just saw the aftermath of a pretty gnarly motorcycle accident. looked like a white SUV turned left in front of the bike (possibly a Harley). back passenger door was caved way the hell in, all the airbags were set off. motorcycle was of course smashed and the rider was down in the right lane of the intersection. so fresh there were no first responders on scene, just people who pulled over to help (most of which were directing traffic). had to pull over for the firetruck a quarter mile down the street. didn't get a good look, but rider seemed to still be alive. possibly moving at least 1 arm.
why can't MF'ers see motorcycles?

I have been down on the street in a sandy corner, and was pushed....broadside by a Nissan sentra. [Passing on the right is a thing here, at a 4 way intersection, when you can't see...] I use the 20$ skull caps, mine has a nice spider web crack on the side reinforced with stickers. The number of close calls at speed is high....people see you even less if you ride 12months in New England. Dec, Jan, and Feb you might as well be a dragon...people look at you in total disbelief....shake their head and pull out anyway...as if there is no way that could be real.

I did not realize how hard it was to sell rc stuff lmao

I don't know about locally to you but I have had almost zero luck. Put up three cars and sold one. There was a time where people would be beating down my door for what I am selling.

I think we're just in tighter economic times ATM.

yeah it’s possible for the economy issues in tryna sell kinda cheap to get the moved too lol i’m in a good spot for it I think but no luck still

Economy has slowed down my buying. I now have to be a lot more selective in what I can afford, and what I actually need.

finally got shipping confirmation. it'll be here, get this. Monday. so iv got nothing to do this weekend.
I bet theres lots of hot, sweaty fiberglass machining and giant mosquito dodging to do at work if you're bored. 🤣

Yeah, it's always been sort of hard for used stuff. And never get anywhere close to what you have into it. New stuff, lots of people would rather just buy straight from a vendor unless it's a huge discount. RC has always been a losing proposition unless you factor in the enjoyment you get from it.

Nah, all you can eat shrimp buffet.
