Furitek part that I ordered on Feb. 26th got lost in the mail - Furitek agreed to re-ship it 3-20, and actually did on 3-30. It finally arrived today with this:

I now have $49.69 invested in a part that sells for $14.99.
So, here's the e-mail I sent Tony. Think anything will happen?

"Not sure what happened here but this part finally came today.
It came with $15.70 due to the post office for "Fraudulent postage".
I paid it so I wouldn't have to start over again.
I've now spent over $45 for a $15 part.
I've always been a huge fan of Furitek products but this may sway my decisions on future purchases.
Care to shed any light on this?"

Ok, gotta update.

i was more in reference to work.
currently doing one job that requires me to kind of baby sit it. and its a slow process that's going to take all day.
have another job back at the solvent tank that I'm hoping pretty much takes are of itself. but again its a babysit it type thing.
and now the boss is piling on other that i have to finish in-between the two.
so I'm going to be running back and forth like a chicken with its head cut off until about 2 o'clock. at which point ill get more shoved onto my plate that we'll be trying to rush out the door because its Friday.

Gorgeous day, today! Plan was for after work to swing by Lowe's to pick up a new gas grill. Then head home to hit the treadmill, and then dinner.
I wanted an unassembled grill so waited about 15 minutes for this employee to go in the back to get the grill. He pulled the wrong model. With the help of another employee, this time it took around 10 minutes.
Wanted to use my Lowe's card, so I can take advantage of the 12 months no interest deferred payments. The card, with no balance on it, was declined! At this point, I was done! Just wanted to get home and do my workout and have dinner.

We went to Wendy's tonight on the way home from work. Mrs. Doom placed her order and they had us pull up and park. After a few minutes an employee comes to the window to tell us what she ordered is no longer available. So she substituted it with something else. They asked her if she wanted any sauce and talked her into trying a specific sauce.

Again we waited, and when the food came they forgot our drinks, so again we waited. When we got home they gave her every sauce but what she ordered. This is the third time they have gotten her order wrong in a row, (not the same location).

When did they switch from leaf lettuce to chopped lettuce? I really like their spicy chicken sandwich, but I think we are done with Wendy's for a while.

Wendys tanked here too. Its getting better but near covid, once there was no way to go back inside to complain, only to wait in drive thru line for 20+ mins... They closed the rest. so ONLY drive thru during covid.
Yeah, same kind of experience with me. Order without onions totally ignored. For some ppl, its a flavor thing. I actually get ill from them so a sandwich with onions goes right in the trash.
That happened a couple times in 2 different locations.
I stopped going there for a few years.
They haven't botched an order since the doors have been reopened and I can get face to face with the manager again.
I eat fast food VERY rarely. Not that its a surprise, but its very disappointing when my junk food craving dreams get crushed by actual JUNK food.

Truth is, I almost passed out last night in the shower so the wife thought it would be a great idea.

I have needed one a few times now. Titanium femur took a long time to heal. No way I was trying to shower on one foot!!!

Be careful!!! Don't want to see you on the next installment of 'I've fallen and I can't get up!'

You could turn it into a vacation if you 'fall gently'.

I passed out in the shower a couple of years ago, woke up to Mrs. Doom talking on the phone, I asked who she was talking to, she said 911. That's when I realized I was slumped on the shower floor.

Hell I'm sorta still young and healthy. I fell in the shower last year. I blame it on Evan though, Evan Williams.
