Some bugs carry things that will mess you up faster.

California causes cancer.
Oddly, Off doesn't cause cancer according to California... but the metal can, the paint on it, the plastic cap and the glue on the cardboard boxes Off is shipped in and the guy stocking the shelves... all cause cancer. 🤷‍♀️🤣

That.

Yes, JANG had a great thing going. Lots of great info/threads......just gone. I'd love to hear the full story.
Here today gone tomorrow. 🙄🤪I remember he said he was running out of free places to run rc. I too was curious.

ok, I'm sick of it. the stupid "humming" sound that EV's make is officially annoying AF. it reminds me of turning metal on a lathe. or maybe a brake dragging. and idk what it is but an ICE car can drive down my street and i won't hear anything but tire noise and wind. but an EV drives down the street and its that plus that damn sound they apparently have to make. they're louder than ICE cars. wtf?

When you think your time has come but it's just an EV reversing 😆

I fully agree. When the dude across the street backs his hybrid Rav-4 into his driveway, it's so effing loud. He works weird hours and it wakes my dogs up in the middle of the night.

I can't believe I'm online complaining about the sound an electric car makes...2026 baby.

This situation was super scary, but the aftermath is what I have a rant about. Mind you, the people who are apart of this situation are 17, 17, 16, 16, 16, 14, and 14. there were 3 girls 3 guys. It happened Friday night, at 9 pm PST. Me (16), my best friend Brighton (16), and bella's brother, Jacob (14), (Bella is the driver of the second truck) were driving in front of Bella (16), Audrey (17) , Richard (17), and Marley (14), in the back roads of Corbett Oregon, when the truck I was in went around the corner, then the next corner, and then towards the cemetery up the road. We thought we saw headlights behind us, but they weren't headlights. We sat for a minute and called Bella and Marley both, with no answer from either. At that point, we realized something was wrong. We turned around and hauled @ss back towards the first corner, and that's when I saw Bella curled up in the middle of the road crying. We had turned off traction control in her truck and swapped it from auto 4wd to standard 2wd, which was the dumbest decision on planet earth. We were doing donuts before, so we turned it off for her. They were driving behind us, (my truck was speeding), and her truck was going the speed limit. They hydroplaned, lost control because of no traction control and in 2wd, and slid off the road, went on 2 wheels, and slammed into a tree, crushing the bed of the truck and smashing the whole cabin about a foot in. Everyone was okay, few broken ribs and all 4 had concussions. Now, we called all of our parents, and they all showed up, except for Marley's. Her mom said she didn't think the crash was that bad, and that she'd get over it. Mind you, they had literally just rolled a truck into a tree, and they were all super hurt. When Marley got home, her mom screamed at her saying that she wasn't gonna waste gas to go up and "check on a little fender bender". My rant is that its BS that a parent didn't show up for their kid, even if they thought the crash was a fender bender, and not a full on totaling of a truck. I'll post some photos of the truck after the accident. They still owed 20K on it too. Only had 50k miles on the odo.

that's terrible dude. glad everyone was okay.

Was the mom incapacitated by drugs/alcohol? or just a total trash parent?

That sucks, glad there were no serious injuries. Some parents should not be parents.

reminds me of a guy i wasn't friends with with knew from a common friend group. we were both kind of on the fringes of that friend group. nothing that extreme ever happened, but any time he put his mom in a situation to have to be a parent (ie a responsible adult) she would not give a 💩, basically tell it was his fault. he got yourself into it, he can get your self out. then fly off the handle no matter the outcome.
later we found out she was a pill popper and functional alcoholic. the theory was she was messed up and knew it and avoiding responsibilities/parenting was a way to help cover it up. at least in her mind. I'm sure other parents had questions, as did all of us teenagers and young adults. it was enough of a thing that we even had a short lived inside joke about it. if you were getting a little to wild for the group/situation you were said to be the one who was going to crawl up Ryans moms butt. :hehe:
