Holy moly. Gave it to my buddy to get the gear mesh as it should so it works, that way. But when i went to test it... wouldnt go. Go figure i put the center diff in the WRONG way. Poor me... Ugh. Why does AE have to do this to me lol. Because of that front was pulling but the rear was pulling not pushing. Ill go back in there tomorrow or Monday to switch it around and hopefully i can drive and bash it after 2 months of being down because I don't have patience to learn a new platform.This is self explianatory right here
How many screws do you have to take off to get out the center diff in a AE Reflex 14T?
Gear cover 5 screws
Rear chassis brace 4 screws (2 at chassis, 2 at tower)
Read upper diff case 6 screws (4 at chassis 2 at tower)
Center dogbone tunnel 4 screws (esc tray 2 screws, 2 screws at front outdrive)
Extra for easy access:
4 wheels nuts
2 turnbuckle screws at hubs
2 shock pivot balls at tower
Why AE? Why???!!!
I had to repeat that process like 2-3 times because the diffs were locking up and gear mesh has a mind of it's own due to this ultra wacky motor mount.

Ohh, I'm sure I'm gonna still hang around here on the site lol, I just think I need to put the RC stuff to the side for a while.
I'm on and off with my hobbies all the time. I haven't touched an rc in months. Still, I'm here all the time. I enjoy BSing with people here, that's why I'm typically found in the General Chaos area and not other rc related areas.

to do. no joke, there is crap tossed on top of what i left on the bench Friday. one job i have to make parts for before i can finish. and that whole job is going to be time consuming AF. there's a motor that needs cleaning and the gearbox gone though but i need an armature to get an adapter off the shaft on the gearbox. armature has already been taken in for rewinding (the boss never takes off those damn adapters), so hopefully we have one or that adapter isn't coming off and i can't do that job. plus there's already crap for stock sitting around that because its started and has been sitting fore more than 24 hours the boss will sooner than later have his hair on fire about. and instead of the boss walking in the door between 8:30 and 9:00. he walked in the door at 8:15, with his hair on fire and has already rummaged through the storage room and walked out with more to do. mood thanks to getting maybe 3 hours of sleep last night.
so i walked in the door this morning and very quickly realized the boss came in over the weekend. needless to say I'm loaded up with
I'm more every project finishing division. my boss has one hell of a case of ADHD. he's really good at starting stuff. getting distracted or bored and starting stuff that doesn't need to be done. at least not yet. and i have to come along and finish everything. I'm not exaggerating when i say i have a hand in at least 80% of what goes out the door. if i didn't nothing would ship on time.
I know that routine too, my boss likes to start stuff, but conveniently gets a phone call after the easy part is done. It would be much easier if he didn't "help". He likes to start four projects spread out on every work surface so that I don't have any space to do the jobs that actually need to get done first.
