Sounds like you need to cut him off from the food network. Next thing you know he'll be trying to Flambé some Meow Mix 😝

I almost did the same thing but figured I wouldn't learn anything. So edumacate us mericans.

My rant...
I have lived at my apartment for 11 years. 6 different owners have owned this place. Every single property manager we've had I have told them the gutters need cleaned out and covers installed so they don't fill with leaves and maple seeds.

They have cleaned the gutters one time since I have lived here. The water pours over a bent edge by my bedroom window like a waterfall. I would bet my RC collection the splashing up from the ground is getting under the siding and causing rot, because after it rains, that area of the siding stays wet for a day or so.

I put in another request on May 3rd to have this problem fixed. They responded to me 3 weeks later saying someone was coming to clean the gutters. They gave him a week to do so and wanted me to let them know when he showed up. He never showed. Repeat with another maintenance guy, again wanting to know when he got to it. He showed and worked on the apartment next door. Said he would get the gutter the next day. Nope. Instead we have a small rainforest growing now.

When I bought my house that I used to rent… the very first day I took ownership, it rained HARD. Gutters overflowed, poured into the foundation and flooded the entire basement. Which, keep in mind is a whole other house since it’s a duplex. Turns out the previous landlord never cleaned the gutters… I do it twice a year now 🤣

We are buying the house we rented for years. Not the best place in the world but we made it home years ago and our payment is very low and easy on the pocket.
Only 5 more years and it's paid off.

Boom that did the trick! I was worrying because I thought I got banned from using the tools for some reason
Glad ya figured it out. First time that happened to me I was freaking out too 😉
