I think I’ve finally hit a wall at work. I’m one confined space away from losing it. I feel bad complaining because everyone is suffering in their own from of hell, but my god does this suck.

Fortunately this is only going on for another week or so and then my job gets really easy until next year

For 98% of the year, I’m NOT doing this. I’m wearing clean clothes and keeping chairs warm

I don’t even think I’ll be doing this come next overhaul, unless they pull me off nights. Mike Rowe would be dissapointed in me if he saw what I do most of the time

I have had to do some pretty crappy stuff in my day. We had to crawl under a house, break through a cinderblock wall into a crawl space with only a couple feet of room, and fix a drain pipe. The first section was about a foot deep with water and god knows what. And it was a crawl about 75 feet through that crap. The second section smelled like a truckload of dead rats died under there. It was by far my worst day ever.

Heres the culprit, it's the transmission support bearing and it was completely blown apart. That explains the clip ring on the shaft that's just hanging there. Ordered the new one and it will be here in two days.
You can see the groove at the bottom where the clip ring goes. That section was busted in half and has been that way for some time because
it's all rusted.

Judging by the rust completely around the broke part, I would venture to guess it's been cracked for quite some time.

Glad it wasn't anything catastrophic bro. How much did that bearing set you back?

$20 for the bearing and $10 for snap ring pliers. Can't complain about that.

I opened a new box/bottle of ProTek CA glue... It like only 60 percent full of the bottle. I paid 11 bucks for it. Id expect to get a full bottle...
I still have some left of my expired AKA CA glue but i got a new bottle of glue because my AKA bottle the cap gets seized on badly after use. Also keeping that bottle out for my uncle to use and keep my new bottle in my pit bag.

Yesterday I was eating a yummy Custard and apple filled scroll.

Like this:

I was eating the boring outside bread, heading towards the holy grail, the apple and custard centre. As I took one more bite of the bread, the goodness in the centre ejected and fell on my dirty floor mat by my workbench. Noooooo.

The devastation, the anger, the disappointment. Why oh why did I deserve this? Whom did I do wrong by? Did I sin? Why???

I will never recover from this.

RIP my Custard and apple centre.

The rule says you have 3 seconds to get your face down to the floor and lap up as much of that filling as you can. Just do not exceed 3 seconds because by then it would be unsanitary and just not proper etiquette.

I'm well aware of the rule, and it did cross my mind. But the work mat has swarf and all sorts on it.
