Sort of a rant but maybe not idk.
Local carpet track is doing a summer points series, 7 races total, 1 allowed drop, - yay for them.
But, nay for me because most likely it will go through mid june and ill miss 2 of those saturday's from being on vacation so i just commented on their post saying ill stop by one race day for fun if I don't have anything going on, not really gonna participate in chasing down points if I can't do the whole series. - only assuming if the fees are normal club race fees and aren't raised for the point series.

If I weren't on vacation it would be my first ever series trying to chase down a trophy lol.
Ehh its fine anyways. I am a upper B to lower A main type driver lol. (Club race terms)

Can't get it welded? My dad welded up a number of driveshafts in his mower shop.

Actually the axle goes through a drive transmission I guess it is and one side of the axles turns but on the other side of the little box doesn't.
It requires a torques bit to get it open and I couldn't find mine so I ordered a set and I'll open the box up and see what's going on.
It's one of those deals, it's going to keep breaking down because it's old but it's been a great mower. Husqvarna HU700L.

surprised they didn't yell at you for ruining there points series by not running every race.

Yeah, those are kickass mowers. It's not going to be very complicated to fix it I'm guessing. But who knows. Always interesting to see what did break. It could very well just be a sheared pin or keyway.

I just noticed that there is a snap ring just dangling on the axle but no clue where it's supposed to be.

Honestly I don't mind mowing at all, I don't get much exercise other than riding my bike.
The heat has really got me though, I just about passed out today.

I can't say I enjoy mowing but I do like the lawn looking good and the satisfaction of getting the job done.

the party house on the street behind me is blasting terrible pop and dance music. all i can clearly hear is bass.
