Got in tge zone and started to put together my f450. It was short lived. I misplaced some parts for it. I'm hoping I didn't toss ot in the trash. 🤬🤬

Hardware and some of the transmission and driveshaft parts.
You'll find them 4 mins after you confirm payment on the new replacement parts! Spares for your next build! 🤣

supposed to be 54 degrees tomorrow and raining
I'm in a beach city in So Cal, wtf, 54.
boss will have the back loading door wide open from probably 9am on. I'm going to be a human popsicle.
Working in 54 degrees, I'd be in shorts and a t-shirt with nothing to complain about. One job I had was 120°F inside most days, and another was 10°F inside in the dead of winter. And I loved both of those jobs. Try detassling corn just one time. Pull your skirt up and get to work 😛

####### thieves broke into a power box on the abandoned building next door and stole the power cable from the meter going into the building. They left the wires exposed, and the meter appears to be hot.

So I called Duke Energy and after 10 minutes of getting the automated runaround (which there is no way to bypass) asking if I need to speak to 25 different people that I didn't need to speak to, I finally say hell with it and connect to billing, figuring they could at least transfer me.

The lady answers, and I cut her off on her canned speech to explain the situation. I just need to report a theft, and a very dangerous situation since kids play back there. To which she says "OK, let me see... 10 second pause... I see here there is a note on your account about your last billing cycle. No! Listen lady. I am not calling about ANYTHING to do with my account. I just need to be connected to somebody to report a dangerous situation.

So she has to put me on hold for 5 minutes to come back and tell me she is connecting me to a local office. Finally, I'm getting somewhere.

The next person answered, and started asking me my account info, and I had to cut her off and explain the situation all over again. She finally decides to shut up with her canned speech and says she is going to connect me to the tamper department.

Ring ring ring, no answer, then it pauses and rings some more. I think, oh no. Voice mail coming up. It paused again, and rang some more. Right back to the ####### beginning of this whole thing.

Finally after going through all of that a second time I get connected to the local office again, and they transferred me again, but this time simeone answered so I finally got it reported to someone.

These automated AI answering services and the use of call centers based in India need to be outlawed!

i could manage the 120, humidity level pending. i spent 6 hours doing yard work one day in 100 degrees with no shade. i sweat so damn bad staying hydrated was a problem. but whatever, id do it again without complaining.
6 or 7 years ago it hit 115 outside, inside at work it was 113. i was running a lathe just inside the back loading door, that yes, was wide open. no big deal. i had no complaints aside from the static electricity.
i can deal with heat, just can't handle cold well. a possible thyroid problem, raynaud's disease, and what I'm assuming is arthritis make it difficult. i start loosing physical functionality when temps get below 70. when it gets down below 60 it starts to become a problem.

Its amazing how costly trying to help out can be. 🙄

Fun fact. Most, not all though, automated answering machines can be bypassed by saying “representative” a few times. I do it with my bank and internet company anytime I call them. Gets me a real person every time 😎

I usually start stabbing "0" if the automation has hearing problems. 🤣

True! @WickedFog is probably now the main suspect in this vandalism/larceny/endangerment case.
They already know he's got solder AND wire cutters. This one is as good as solved!!! 🤣

He's got lots of RCs, so obviously a flight risk. Bail denied!

Believe me. I know all the tricks. Not with this one though. The reply is "before I can connect you with someone, I need to know what you're calling about" and the 2 minute long list of options starts all over again. Your only option is to pick one of the options.

I'm sure the fire department has a way. I would have let them handle it. 🤣

The power company is dragging their feet, but when I called to report the theft, they couldn't have cared less about the theft. But they immediately sent the fire department, sirens blaring, who walked out back and wrapped some caution tape around the area. There were 5 firemen, dressed in their gear who were all back there trying to tape off the area in a light breeze. It was pretty funny to watch.

Still going through this nonsense. I can't believe it's giving me such a fit over a $30 dollar transaction. Futaba said they'll call me back in a few minutes.
That's just too unacceptable. It's 30 bucks it should go through no issues and it's not anything with the bank. Guess Futabas system is down or something.

I'm pretty sure it's their website, i've called my bank 4 different times and they were adamant it wasn't on their end. They even white listed Futaba so it wouldn't block them or anything.

I have issues with sales because my VPN or block lists won't allow a connection to finalize a sale. Its a PITA!!! 🤬
