To make it worse everything is apartments. More people can fit in a roach motel so more money to be made. Its kinda depressing.

I like when southerners come north and get caught in a snow storm! Even if the rental happens to have good snow tires on it, they have NO IDEA how to drive in snow! 🤣
Hazzards on, high beams flashing, navigators head sticking thru sunroof for extra visability, wipers beating so fast the rubber is melting black streaks on the glass and knuckles so white you can see them glowing on the steering wheel at night!
Even better when they get pissed off because everyone else is flipping them off and passing them @ 30mph. 🤣

Or even worse. Get caught on an interstate in the snow and discover that semi drivers up here actually go faster as the conditions get worse. They will typically plow through anything as long as they don't have to touch their brakes. And they know the cops will never catch up to see their plate, so yeah... chit gets REAL crazy when a semi blows past you doing 40mph faster than you are.

I drove 70 miles each way on I-70 to Indy one winter in a Hyundai accent. Tracks in the road made the car feel like one of the old timey car rides on the metal rail track at the amusement parks. Then a semi comes blowing by, shaking the car like crazy, while sending a tidal wave of slush at you that seizes your windshield wipers 😅

The logging roads in the great north woods in Maine are exceptionally clear on this point. THE TRUCKS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY, YOU ARE A VISITOR. IF YOU WANT TO STAY A LIVE VISITOR, STAY THE HELL OUT OF THEIR WAY!!!

Woke up at 4am to dogs barking and what sounded like a bang on tge door. Mr Pickles, my brown tabby, kicked the door. After the girls quieted down he scratched the window. 🤣

Decided to sleep in and missed the first and probably on heavy fog of the season. 😕

Holy crap @ USPS!!! 💩👍
8 days for a regular sized envelope to go "priority mail" from Maine to Maryland!
I take partial resposibilty for this. I did neglect to ask WHO'S priority. 😐 I am thankful its done!!! 🤣 (it was over $10 for this btw)

I quit using priority mail for that very reason, it's no faster than standard mail. Just costs more.
