With my short cut, I need to cut it about every 10 days for it not to look like I have a straight hair "afro".

for almost 30yrs, I either shaved my head, did a skin close fade, or a Mohawk. Mine is currently three times longer than the fruitcake in your gif, and I cut it every 2-3wks..
