4 of my 6 siblings relocated to Cali in the 90's, from CT. For whatever reasons, they enjoy it out there. No thank you, for me! It took me +4 years of living in beautiful weather Hawaii, to realize I prefer a true 4 seasons. +20 years back in New England, and I still have no regrets of coming back here.It was nice to visit. Not REAL nice but it was ok.

I felt that way, too, for the 1st couple of years. Same with a lot of mainlanders who thought they were going to live there forever, as well. An overwhelming majority just don't end up staying forever.That said, the whole damn island would have to be covered in lava before I would leave Hawaii I think!![]()
