Rant for the day..
Why is it that Axial uses a weird ugly roll cage on the CJ-7 vs what I know to be the correct looking roll bar.!!
Also what's with that weird black body wrap armour stuff too.!!:thumbs-down:

i have complaints about that thing to. one was the roll bar. one was the body armor. the other is that its not a CJ5 and that it's not the SCX24 platform.
and that idk if anyone makes Jackman wheels for the SCX24. and if they don't they should.
so.... ...yeah...

BurgerKing issues. So I roll through the drive thru at the BK nearish.....5 miles from the shop. Order a Whopper value meal with cheese/ no onions because they literally advertise to "have it your way". I get to work and it's not "my way" at all. It's no cheese and extra onions! Wth! Bro, you got ONE JOB....MAKE THE BURGER AS ORDERED. Get off your phone and make the burger. End of rant...thank you for listening. Have a great weekend.
Its good to be the king!!! 👑

Onions and I don't get along. I TOTALLY feel this pain!!!
Getting a fast food burger place to understand what 'NO ONIONS' means has taken many drastic turns.
My favorite is when the manager starts telling me that my allergy to his food 'isn't a big deal' or that its 'not their job'. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Bad day to be a manager at BK. 🤣
Now an actual rant....ever since the 2020 shut down all the surrounding towns are closed up by 10pm. I can't think of any business that is still 24 hours. Even the truck stop diner near me is closed at 8pm tonight. For a guy who doesn't drink, and since late night coffee shop waitresses are kind of my type, this area sucks.
Welcome to Maine. Not even a 24hr gas station for a soda. The pumps are still open but screw driver comfort.
We gotta go sh!t it the woods with the bears.
I think kids would still go out if there was something to do... maybe an RC track? 🤔
I worked overnight, early mornings... I worked in bars and nightclubs. Do they still have those? 🤷‍♀️🤣

I remember 24 hour grocery shopping, Walmart at 3:30am... was THE best time to shop!

I was home in bed sleeping, all my stuff done for the day before most ppl were even out of bed.
Shopping SUCKS now!!!

I remember both of these "cages" too. 😎👍
I also remember when 'roll bars' and 'light bars' were easily confused in the 80's...
Big ass pick ups rolling around with tin foil 'roll bars'. They weren't even welded together, nevermind welded to the chassis.
They hold lights and fire extinguishers until the truck rolls over. 🤷‍♀️🤣

I have closed many a bar at some point and there was a time that after you would end up at a Dennys or IHOP etc. You could be there till whenever really. Now the only option after is a taco bell drive through....which is not the same. Also not something I'm making a special trip out to do.

Went to eat at a restaurant the other day, menu says 4oz, 8oz, and impossible burgers. Each 1 more expensive. The disappointment in finding out the impossible burger is some vegan friendly alternative and not a food challenge can not be measured.
Supposedly, the good impossible "meat" is supposed to be nearly impossible to tell the difference, according to that Wahlberger's show. I bet I can, but have never felt like throwing money away to try it.

Impossible burger. 🤮
Used to be a time I loved going by a Burger King - flame broiled burgers always smelled so good!
Now they smell like a dumpster fire... 🤮
Burger King can't even cook rear hamburger anymore and make it taste like meat. I don't know what changed over the years with BK, at least around here, but a Whopper these days tastes like it's made of 90% soybeans, and is typically served cold.

Maybe the whopper was always trash....we were just less picky when they were 99 cents, or a buck 10 with cheese, lol

So you can still get a burger done 'you're way' as long as your way sucks?! 😲
I used to prefer BK to other fast food. I will buy Wendy's once or twice a year maybe now.
I could be suckered into a breakfast too maybe.
I don't remember the last time I ate fast food actually. 🤔
Sounds like I'm not missing much! 🤣

Speaking of dumpster fires...
Went to a small diner recommended by a neighbor. Usually lined out the door, we were lucky and got seated and served in no time. Really good, but just getting started eating when 3 guys sat down at the table next to us. One of them smelled so bad we got up, took our meals and sat at another table. Waitress had no problem with it. 🤮

Definitely has to do with how a particular restaurant is managed and the staff on duty. I don't go very often, but I’ve got a couple of BK I go to and they usually put out decent food.

Nah. I was a Whopper addict for a long time. But I stopped eating fast food for a bit, and when I tried a Whopper again after 10 years, it was smaller, cold, tasteless, etc. The last one I ate I took the patty and tossed it in the air fryer. It was 19x better. It's like they are precooking them now and serving them cold 🤷‍♂️

I worked at a BK many moons ago. How the flame broiling system work is frozen patties goes straight onto a conveyor belt and into the open flame oven. Flames on top and bottom. If you got a cold one, it means it was made ahead of time and sat in the warmer.
Where I worked, burgers were made to order, so the patties don't get cooked until an order was placed. Except during lunch and dinner rush hours, where we would pre-make about 5 Whoppers during the rush.
Whether they've changed the patty components, I don't know. I had a Whopper a few months ago, and I thought it was fine.
