I solved that issue a long time ago... I just filter for items with a buy-it-now price.

I don't waste my time with bidding, or even looking at the ones that don't have a price.

Sometimes you find really good deals on obscure stuff for auction only, but mostly I am the same.

99% of the time I use Buy it Now but there are times where the item I’m looking for is so obscure it’s only available as an auction.

My wife and I were supposed to fly to Dallas this morning but the airline cancelled the flight due to inclement weather, and the alternative flight was a complete joke - it would totally screw our plans. Now I'm stuck in the house with a pissed off wife...

Wednesday i get an email letting me know it's been shipped and it will probably be here Saturday.
Thursday i get an email letting me know i will be receiving my shipment later than expected. new delivery date, Monday.
Friday it was delivered. luckily i waved having to sign for it.

Amain has a distribution center in Charlotte. They are getting that snow storm that just hammered here. I'm sure it will make it ok. Just a extreme weather delay.

Same exact happened to me, my order arrived today after they told me it woul be late, then told me good news, it will be early. not going to complain, still got it on the original date I was supposed to.
