I think it really sucks that a car that was legitimately a track proven, race winning design has been brought to this level.
The RC10 is a good design, no matter the color.
I think making some unique cars and different colors for @Doom!or other haterrrrr... enthusiasts who want something different.
I've had the right color orange chassis on my shelf for decades.
Different colors for a different look might be fun.
My old six gear is still an old 6 gear. Its not mint. It has some scratches but its got very little actual use. No need to bang it up any further.
Some carpet time would be fun tho.
A graphite, stealth car that I don't mind banging up out in the dirt would be fun too. Its nice that I can buy one new right now if I want one.
I understand making a racing green colored car for a 40th anni.
I just stopped celebrating my 40th birthday last week! (that was over a decade ago)
That said, maybe lowering the price a bit and limiting the number of RC10 releases would be smart.
They need to stop releasing all this other stuff with the RC10 name on it tho.
If AE wants to sell orange and white crawlers, fine... call it a CR10 or something.
Its like the wave has long since crashed and they are on the beach, still standing on their boards.
Whats wrong with letting legends be legends and starting whole new ones with whole new GOOD designs?
If the price wasn't so damned high...I might buy that not a porschae car. Its really cool looking and even more so now that I've seen it in the Tamiya 959 dress.
Putting RC10 badges on discount trucks and buggies is as shady and cheese as it gets.
If your mini buggy rocks, let it. If it sucks, why are you trying to sell it to us? Call it an MR32 or whatever it actually is, and send it.
I don't hate this truck but I hate that its called an RC10. ST12 seems right to me.
I know everyone is tired of AEs antics but don't hate the RC10 for misguided marketing or whatever this is.
It seriously is a fun car and a shame to not try at least once.![]()
Totally agree. It shouldn't be an RC10.
Maybe RC = Rock Crawler?
I dunno they need to work on their marketing for sure. If they want to sell low cost stuff, rebrand it under another name. Sam with nostalgic models they should be something else. The fact that Element is dying on the vine and they put this crap out there is very sad.
I'm building an RC10 B6.2 now and was thinking I will upgrade to a newer one at some point but this stuff is so bad I'm question if TA is even viable.
