Good weekend to stay indoors and work on this. Wasn't so sure at first about the natural nylon white color, but kind of like it now (I know maybe not a popular opinion LOL).

Oh yes, hoping it does well on our carpet track. Those spikey tires should work well. I have a couple of different motors and a good selection of different pinions to try. Going with 2S battery and 4500 KV 4 pole motor initially.

Made some progress. One thing not shown or mentioned in instruction book is that there are 3 different sets of rear swing arm mounts included. They allow choice of rear toe "0" deg "1.5" deg and "3" deg toe-in. The hubs are "0" deg and my understanding is you can get hub carrier sets with different toe settings.

Looks like you can still fit a non-shorty battery lengthwise, if you don't use the shorty tray(s)?

I don't know what they offer to fit the new release but A&L Factory Works sells a bunch of stuff for a conversion kit. Might be worth a look for other tuning options too.

Almost complete. Just waiting on motor and ESC. Need to fine tune alignment. Has a ton of bump steer so I guess that is normal, including extreme caster.
