So who burned some nitro today?

The mini nitro LRP micro servo stopped working, but that's luckily a very minor problem👍🏻 I just don't have one at hand on vacation.
The Schumacher Rascal 1/16 nitro started leaking so heavily from the pullstart that I could see smoke coming from it, and it was way too loud. I'll look further into it at home.
The T2M diff is ruined.

What's left?- the HPI Trophy Truggy F4.6!! It will never let me down. I abused it a couple days ago in a field (constant WOT), and didn't even dare to clean it afterwards LOL

it smelled so bad like one big cow 💩, so I had to move it to a different room. Today I woke up 2 hours earlier just to clean it:

After cleaning it, I took it out again today. Guess what... a local came to me and said he bought some accesoires for an RC car, but he never bought the RC car🤷🏼‍♂️🤣 instead of dumping it, he now gave me four wheels and a body👍🏻👍🏻

I guarantee I'll make some shelf queen beautiful basher out of it.

sooner or later I'll edit and upload all RC videos of this vacation together on my YT channel😎

Replaced the motor mount Tuesday. Took it out Wednesday evening. Started and took off. Noticed I’d forgot to put my rocker screws in.

Fixed it last night and run it this evening. Not the best camera work but not bad for the first time driving and filming. lol

This little truck will boogy. You can tell when I get brave enough to shoot the fuel to it. 😁. I’ll get better at filming and get some video of it running hard.

Yesterday I ran the vintage alpha SG tiger, the steering linkage broke, but as expected lol, so I had a new one immediately near me. It was my first time running the HPI .21, it runs very nice and might be too powerful.
I also took out the underweight carson dazzler, with a way too powerful SH.18. It was flying like a HPI savage until the clutchbell broke because of the braking system, so I'll somehow have to install a different one.
Finally, I also decided to take out the thunder tiger mta4 s28, and both the two-speed as well as the reverse work perfectly🙂... until the pull-and-drill starting mechanism started falling out, letting the engine suck in lots of air from the back, causing a runaway right into the water😭 My dad caught it on camera, I'll edit it. I had the brakes fully pulled in and steered wherever was best, so luckily it didn't touch a droplet water, but less luckily I am traumatised.

Hell, my camera work is getting worse. Not better. lol. Sorry about the last half. I don’t know how to edit videos when I upload.

Anyways, this truck is a beast. An absolute beast. It’s hard to film this then a 3.3 truck. Thing will scoot. People driving by would just stop and watch. It’s a loud bad ass machine. I love it.

I tried making a video about 6 times but, you gotta keep your eye on this thing. I kept losing it in the screen because this thing was jumping around every where. I love it.

Pulled out the old Nitro Sport this morning. Running great but it might be time for some new rear tires🤣

Tires are great. Growing up we ran them bald to where you can see the inside ribbon outside the tire. 🤣🫠🙃

I think my nitro sport will be next to set up.

Was running the Nitro Sport this morning when about halfway through the first tank it stopped suddenly. Engine revved up but truck wouldn’t move. I thought I stripped the spur gear. A tiny pebble got caught in the spur gear and jammed against the clutch bell gear. Fortunately it didn’t break anything. Just makes the hobby interesting 😂

Run the new tmaxx build this evening for three tanks. Got the lsn leaned out. Leaned the top about an 1/8th. Going to run it and get some fuel through it. It’s coming to life.

Me. I burnt some nitro today. I hadn't for many years, but I did just now.

Got the old TRX .15 pro running which I had replaced in my Nitro Sport.
I set up a test bench as I have 3 old .15 engines and I want to use one in a second Nitro Sport build.
I though the engine was cooked but it was just the carby and/or its settings.I fitted another carby that came with a used engine I bought.
Adjusted the settings back to factory and she fired up. I had put some after run oil in it to soak for about a week.

Good to know it's not dead. It revs up really well.

I run my dynamite 19 tmaxx today. It’s done on the break in. It held tune pretty good from a week ago. I never touched it. Weather is basically the same. Same everything.

The only problem I had was the plastic zip ties keep breaking on the header side of the exhaust. I had this same issue on my 21tm. I’m guessing both these motors produce quite a bit more heat than the 3.3. Maybe it’s the fuel as I don’t run Traxxas fuel in non Traxxas motors.

Anyways, In going to pick up some hose clamps tomorrow and finish everything for good. Should just have to run it now because I’ve worked out all the bugs.

I’m impressed with this motor. It’s turned into a beast. As always, filming and trying to drive produces less then top performance. But, you guys that’s fun the Mach 2 knows it’s definitely a step up in power over the 3.3.

Oh, I stole the tires off my other tmaxx. The sledge tires are just too bouncie I relearn that everytime I try them.
