Pulled out the 1/16 scale HSP Kingliness this morning. Been having some issues with with the one way bearing slipping but after some tinkering it came back to life enough to be able to start the.07 SH engine. Was awesome to hear it run 😎

I run my stock 3.3 tmaxx today. For about 1/4 a tank. lol. Still Had the body off warning it up and a rock wedged between exhaust and pinion gear. 😡

It wedged in so hard it loosened the flywheel nut behind the clutch. So, when I got home from work, I fixed it. I had to take the exhaust off to get the rock out. Never had that happen before.

Going to try it again tomorrow when I go to the shop. 👍

I run my stock tmaxx 3.3 today. Nearly a quart of fuel. I finally wrecked it and the glo plug wire came off. I didn’t have a pair of needle nose to put it back on with. I got tired of frigging with it. So, I just quit.

I really got it fined tuned. Idles great. And will set idling for 45-60 seconds and still blast out of the hole. I’ve found for just ripping and bashing a nitro monster truck, if you run the same fuel, all tuning from day to day after that point is based on hsn.

It was nice to have the time to fool with it and get it right. So much of my time is limited when I get to fool with these nitros. Having nothing pressing allows you to run it enough to get it perfect.

I finished up running my 6s typhon. That thing has a bad case of the zoomies. Man will it fly.

Finally got to burn some Nitro this morning, after almost 4 months.😳The old “Pede didn’t disappoint. Running great!

My first nitro was a nitro stampede in 97. I saved paper route money for 2 years for that thing. I freakin loved that truck!
I have every part to build a brand new nitro stampede in storage. The chassis is not an easy find anymore! I have 2 brand new complete chassis though.

Anyway. I finished putting together another 3.3 swb T-maxx today and ran a few tanks through it. Its a mix of new and used parts from the bin.

They do have 3d printed chassis on ebay. The metal ones are gone now.

I've seen those. Having a 3d printer and printing a ton of stuff, I dont think id ever want one of the 3d printed ones unless it was just for a shelf queen.

I watched ebay for a couple years and bought each piece of the chassis (the plastic and the blue aluminum set) brand new in package twice now.
The transmission case and top shaft are different from the rustler too.

You'll see integy aluminum chassis pieces often. The plastic half will pop up once every couple to few months. Just need to set an alert for the part # and youll get lucky.

Anyway..... lol

I have one blue chassis and ine tan chassis pede. I was lucky to get both color aluminum chassis new and both the black and Grey plastic as spare. I think its time to break them out.

Ain’t nothin else quite like it, it’s just different than gas too.

We got’ta wee ltt’l exhaust leek there mite
The very bestest fuel to boot! 🤘

Yeah-sooooooo much better than gas for me.. A good friend of mine gifted me his absolutely over the top HPI Baja some years ago when he moved to Idaho. It had EVERYTHING thrown at it, and it was a complete yawn-fest to me.. 1/8 buggy and truggy is just the sweet spot for me personally. Nitro or ‘lectric.. as long as I have some of each. 🤘🍻
