So who burned some nitro today?

Ran the ‘Pede for the first time using Traxxas fuel. Was expecting some issues based on what I’ve always heard about that fuel. The old ‘Pede loved it. Fired right up and ran perfect. I didn’t have to touch the carb at all. Engine temp at the end of the run was 213 degrees. If my other trucks run as good with this fuel I’ll keep using it. Super happy with it so far😎

I haven't had too many issues with traxxas fuel. 20% was ok. But those 15s love 33%.

Ran the 1/8 scale Mad Beast this morning. Wanted to see how it would run with the Traxxas fuel .This one’s always been a little more picky about carb settings and fuel than my other trucks so I was pretty sure I was going to have to re-tune it. Nope, it fired right up and ran great. Pretty impressed with the Traxxas 20% It’s better than I expected.😁😎

just ripped the RC10GT for about 2 minutes. its running fatter than my 600lb life. and i have to hold the brake to keep it from driving off at a moderate rate of speed. and it needs a decent receiver pack. but it's running and driving.
i had forgotten how loud nitro is in my backyard. I'm between the garage, the house and 2 cinder block walls. it just echo's off everything. neighbors are going to love me :hehe:

I completed the break in today of the savage, but when I thought let's rip her, it turned out I absolutely fried the slipper clutch. Luckily I bought like 10 slipper clutches from AliExpress because it was cheaper than buying one from an actual brand🤣
Next week I'll finally get to drive this savage together with another one from someone new I got into the hobby👍🏻

Edit: I just tried this car again, and the new slipper clutch was still slipping, so I tightened it more and then it didn't. When I was driving, the fuel line accidentally came off the fuel tank, which was kinda a waste to see fuel jumping like a fountain due to the exhaust pressure🤣 the second speed wasn't kicking in, so I unscrewed the set screw a little too far, so it fell out together with the spring and crushed it. I never found the original set screw again, but now I've added a substitute grub screw and spring with a smaller diameter. I hope it will still get the job done, it does force the second speed engage finger to retrace.

Those are super nice buggies! How do ya like it?
Top notch quality. Even better community (fb/discord) always looking for ways to get better by listening to the customer base. The Truggy is going to be available for members in a few months and to the public after scrutiny from members I’m sure.

Nice man! I may try one out in the future. I’ve got absolutely zero issues with what I currently run, but I can’t say I haven’t been peeking at them now and then.. And I’ve got a tremendous amount of respect for JQ-dude knows his shiit bigtime, and they look SUPER nice, and obviously insanely adjustable..

I got my (like-)new LRP Shark 1/18th scale mini nitro to talk. I bought it yesterday, it seems to be in very good condition with lots of compression, even though the bottom is heavily scratched.
The SH .18 works perfectly in the T2M serie 5000, although I sadly ruined the diff. I don't know what to do, since it's just some car from like 2001 or earlier...
