Had an opportunity to take out the nitro rustler for the first time today. Track was prime and the truck did really well. My first few laps were super clean and cleared all the features relatively easily.

Then the tires came unglued and she got pretty squirrelly. Still was a lot of fun and a successful hour at the track.

Ran the old ‘Pede this morning. Been waiting 5 months for the weather to calm down enough to burn some Nitro. It was worth the wait. That Pro.15 ran great

1/2 gallon of JTP 28% burned this past Saturday at Shaw’s Truck Nationals race. Burned through 2 servos which knocked me out of a qual and the main. The wife and I had a great time. I pitted nitro Truggy and 1/10 gas truck for my buddy which was a ton of fun.

25 bulkheads, bumpers, towers. Fast lane machine x length TVPs. Savage octane transmission (all metal with center diff inside) X diffs. see pics.

I run in the Truggy class at local races sometimes. I do have a center diff in the transmission. The event I was at had a dedicated monster truck class.

My racing buddy Chase burned some TNR racing against the electric short course trucks. It’s a tekno NB 2.0 with the SC front and rear ends on it, they bolt right up.

that brings back memories. and not good memories. a kid i used to bash with back in about 2000 had one of those. i once spent over 40 minutes fighting with it trying to get it to start. everything from unplugging the ez start and trying multiple glow ignitors, to multiple glow plugs, to multiple battery's including a 7 cell, to different fuel, attempting to spin the flywheel with the tire of an upside down BMX. nothing and i mean nothing worked!
later, a day? a week? i don't remember, i yanked the pull starter off someone else's car and put it on there, fired up in i want to say about a dozen pulls.

Ran the ‘Pede for the first time using Traxxas fuel. Was expecting some issues based on what I’ve always heard about that fuel. The old ‘Pede loved it. Fired right up and ran perfect. I didn’t have to touch the carb at all. Engine temp at the end of the run was 213 degrees. If my other trucks run as good with this fuel I’ll keep using it. Super happy with it so far
