drifted the Mini Z around in the garage a bit
I was gonna just do a quick drift attempt, but then realized I took out the batteries to the Mini Z 240z to put into the new Mini Z Toyota GT1, which is in the basement. I just didn't feel like going all the way down there just to swap out batteries on 2 cars. So, no RCing today.

I've been running the Stampede on and off with an "old school" look, complete with a driver and bright colors. I originally ran a giant antennae to complete the look before I got tired of it constantly falling out.

Having owned a Tamiya Monster Beetle and several Pumpkins/Lunchboxes, I'd much rather buy a Stampede and do it up like an older truck.

I drove the mini z subaru this morning, showing no improvement in my drifting skills. 🤣 I might just do better to get some road tires for it and set up a track.

The leaves have finally fallen enough and been cleared enough to run my little track out back. I actually pulled out one of my LaTrax Prerunners and had a blast for a solid 10 minutes before it got dark. I have a few of them, it was this color scheme...Can't wait to get it looking good back there again now that I can lay pinestraw again and getting some fresh dirt for my track.

So as to not give up in this yet, I tried it on an inch of snow. Pretty disappointing. The tracks fill with snow and it causes the drive wheels to spin. Fail number two. Sand is next and if it fails at that it will remain a shelf queen. Aka...fun to look at but that's it. I may name it Kim K Tank! Lol

Kinda sucks that the tracks slip, I had been thinking about grabbing one of those.

For the price it's not horrible. It may be fun at the beach and that evaluation will be forthcoming.

The price is what makes it so tempting! :thumbs-up:

Those tracks don't look good for any surface. Maybe somebody will come out with better tracks for them.

One of our grand daughters is coming over to spend the night with Nana and Papa so I'm sure she will
demand to charge batteries and set up the 1/24 crawler course.
we demand you do this too!!!!!
