I flew the entire fleet today. It was the maiden for both the Viper EDF jet and the Eratix 3D foamy…great weather here in Georgia today for flying

Finally got a chance to open up the new WPL 1/16 classic bug. Well, open up to its top speed of 6mph, anyway. At 1/16 it's actually pretty zippy. The speed is just about perfect actually. Any faster, and this thing would just roll with every hard turns.
Also set up the empty 2 car garage into a micro race course for my new AE SR27 Datsun 240z. This drives just ok. Not quite as capable as a Mini Z or Losi micro b.

It just occurred to me that these SR27 have gyros built in. It would explain why the car gets a little wonky some times on sharp turns.
I'm going to have to figure out how to use this gyro to my advantage.

Its a rainy day, so after work, I had a micro track session in Mrs. X side of the garage.
Each car drove so differently! So, it took a bit of time to adjust to each. But, once I got the feel down, I got each car to get pretty quick and smoothly around the track.

I suspected the random wonkiness was due to the Datsun's gyro. I found out how to disable it from YT. The difference was huge! The SR27 drives just as well as Mini Z and Micro B.

Ran the Gorgon last night. It's a fun backyard basher. Does wheelies all day on 3s. Good thing I fitted the wheelie bar. I couldn't quite do a full backflip off the ramp due to it being a 2wd with light wheels and couldn't fully send it due to lack of space.

Came back from a milfs house and played outside with lights in the dark. Sounds like a good night.

drifted the Mini Z in the garage again. then swept a spot in the driveway and tried it out there. results were "meh".
i am liking the longer wheelbase though, it is easier. car now feels "twitchy" thinking of trying some front camber.
