I was in HobbyTown today, about to pick up the ARRMA Vortek's BLX...literally while I was there they dropped the price on the Fireteam from $600 something to $399, I immediately switched out and got it instead...thing is sick
You got a thread on the buggy and wheels? What offset did you use on those Raid wheels?
I do not, yet anyways. You got a thread on the buggy and wheels? What offset did you use on those Raid wheels?
Yes it does. Even worse when you wear regular glasses and have to keep swapping back and forth.Getting old sucks.
I have the metal one but apparently it's only meant for the 4.0 and not the 5.0 and theres a special aluminum one for the 5.0 idk.Thought I fried two servos on my TLR buggy, turns out it was a cracked servo horn. I need to get some reading glasses so I don't miss this stuff. Getting old sucks.

Facts...I'm 47 and I have worn contacts/glasses since 7th grade, with no frustration. This losing my close-up vision, even with corrective lenses, is NOT COOL. Same here. I gotta get a new pair of prescription ones. I can't see far off worse than ever. And I keep reading glasses everywhere. I bet I have 7 pairs. Living room, bathroom, kitchen, car, three or four at work. Gotta have a pair in the grocery store & especially working on RCs.Facts...I'm 47 and I have worn contacts/glasses since 7th grade, with no frustration. Do you know who owns the property?Took the SCX6 across the street for a little excercise. Been sitting on my butt to much lately and I promised my doc I would try harder. Got a pleasant surprise though. The little orchard usually has a few obstacles and mounds to play on, but apparently somebody has been doing a little illegal dumping on the property.
Usually this would tick me off but somebody has been doing some landscaping and dumped about 7 or 8 mounds of dirt with other landscaping debri mixed in like concrete chunks, roots, etc. This made for some new lines to try, and turned out to be more fun than expected
. I kind of wanted to get a shovel and do some rearranging but don't want to get blamed for the dumping. The part that sucks is there was a lot of cool stuff I could bring home if I had room in my yard for a crawler course.
Now I'm afraid they might put up a fence because of the dumping, and I will lose yet another spot to run my RC's. Crossing my fingers this doesn't happen.

Sorry to say. I'd lean towards the latter. It's what they are doing here.It was a small business that sold nuts and candies and such. Hense the small orchard. They closed up late last year and the property is for sale, so it's kind of in limbo. I'm afraid of what may get built across the street. Hopefully not a gas station or apartments.
There's a norm Macdonald movie. Dirty work i think. Yoy should watch it.Low income housing aka apartments (not the nice kind) are shoe horned in to any available lot no matter how small around here, so I think your probably right.
