Louie passed away this morning at 9:10am in my arms. Complications from pneumonia. He would have been 14 on 12/30/2024. I'm a little shattered. He had a great life & had so many wonderful experiences & adventures with us. Run free & play, my sweet friend.

Thank you everyone. It been tough. He was my it. I never remarried after getting custody of the kids & he was my best friend. House is really quiet. Kids grown. Just RCs now. Thank you all for your support.

Man, I know how rough it is. I had a friend go to my place while I was at work. He needed to borrow a tool, and had to get the key from the house. He went out the back door and didn't pull it shut. Later a big storm pushed the door open and my cat, who always got scared in storms, must have freaked out and ran for it. I had her for 8 years, and she did tricks like a dog. Talk to me, roll over, paws, and whichever paw I asked for at that. I could pick her up by her four feet and she'd look at me and purr. I sure miss her still, and that was 25 years ago. But after time, getting another pet helps.
