I sat down with a plan... and then this paint job just kind of happened🤣 At least the lines are crisp🤣

I'll get to test it eventually... I ordered 2 sets of SSD Assassin 1.9 back in December... I got one set in the mail and realized the 2nd set was on backorder and is still on backorder🤯

Well, I just went a whole new direction... I picked up a Jconcepts Anvil body and some candy orange paint from my local hobby shop and got some goodies from DSM Off-Road. I've never heard of them before, so I am going to test some stuff out!

I dont like that a standard axle mounted servo sticks out past the tube on the axles.

I ended up getting a Reefs Raw 400LP. It has a much lower profile but still packs a good punch!

The paint job didn't turn out quite like i expected, but I really like it. I tried for a 2-tone with candy apple orange and black, but I pit the orange on too thick and it ran all over the place. I wiped it out the best I could and just backed it with black.

This is for all you experts out there! I took my kitchen scale and weighed the rig on each tire and overall. this is with the battery installed. Here is what I got:
Front right: 29.6 ounces / 1.85lb / 839.146 grams
Front left: 27.6 ounces / 1.725lb / 782.447 grams
Rear right: 19.2 ounces / 1.2lb / 544.31 grams
Rear left: 19.2 ounces / 1.2lb / 544.31 grams
overall: 98.3 ounces / 6.14lb / 2786.758 grams

How do these weights sound?

@MVRCA I wish you were here for this!

I finally got it out for a bit of testing today. Definitely the best crawler I have ever driven. Don't really have much to compare it to honestly. I had some good fun, and this thing can get up some rocks. I do think it could use a little more weight down low, so I'll have to play around with that.
